They're both pretty important if you're really Christian.

Christmas celebrates the birth of Christ and Easter celebrates Him rising from the grave three days after he was buried. Personally I think most people like Christmas more due to the fact that they get presents, or that Easter just doesn't get as much attention. To me, I like to celebrate Christmas a bit more, but they are both just as important.

My kids actually like Easter more than Christmas.. you open presents and then Christmas is over.. you have to put your new bike away until spring.. it sucks and it's cold. Easter however.. lasts for a while. You get to look for eggs and the presents that were hid.. and you can play outside.. they like easter better

Well I guess if I had a favorite I would say it is christmas because the family get together and you get gifts. Also it is a time to also remeber the birth of christ. but even though he may not been born at that time. but it is a beautiful christmas with all of the pretty lights That another reason why I like christimas.

Attend Orthodox Christian services for Holy and Bright Weeks, especially the all night Paschal Liturgy. Then, you'll see why Easter has always been the central holy day for Christians. It's so beautiful . . . so incredibly joyous. It really does seem like you are in heaven.

Christmas and Easter are equally important for Christians, as Christmas celebrates the birth of Jesus Christ, signalling that God chose to dwell among us (Immanuel, Christ with us). Christ is the living Incaration of God, and he performed many miracles, healings, casting out demons, and infuriated many "religious" people who where "Holier than Thou" types (Pharisees). They decided Jesus was a troublemaker and a threat, so they plotted with the Romans, the power in charge of that day, and so, during the week of Passover, they siezed Jesus in the Garden of Gethsemene, led by Judas, one of the 12 Apostles. Judas believed Jesus was going to take out the Roman Empire by force, but Jesus's mission was to save his people from sin and eternal punishment. He died on a cross as a common criminal, and came back to life, as He said He was. Without the gift of Jesus Christ and his death, burial, and Ressurection, we would be all spending eternity condemed to burn forever in Hell.

None! don't take wrong, I respect every body's traditions, but really, it's all about commercialization, selling, buying, if you ask around the meaning of the celebrations, I assure you that 90% or more won't know why or what they're celebrating. You will get answers such as "I don't know" "it's tradition" "don't ask me" or "something about Jesus" Did Jesus ask to celebrate any of this events? did he? Mmmm!

Christmas. i don't know why but i've been more for beginnings than endings. oh don't get me wrong, i'm truly thankful for what Jesus did for us. i think its not only what i said above, but there's no Easter spirit. there's Christmas spirit and...it's contagious, if you know what i mean.
