High water polyester pants, a short-sleeved white dress shirt with a pocket protector and a bunch of pens, a silly tie, and white socks with brown or black dress shoes. Slick your hair down and find a pair of rimless glasses that are too big for your face. Good luck!!

OK, well, I'm assuming you already have the taped up dork glasses, pocket protector with pens, and highwater Urkel pants. Now what you need is a book on some sort of computer programming language, or maybe a Star Trek or Dungeons and Dragons book, to carry around with you as a prop. Don' forget to purposely "stain" your shirt with something like a ketchup blob, because nerds are notorious for spilling crap on them. Have you thought about a bow-tie yet? They are highly effective, but suspenders work just as well. If you're wearing a t-shirt instead of a collared shirt, make sure it is tucked in really tight, is at least a size too small, and features some sort of dorky logo like Boy Scouts or something like that, or if you have a band t-shirt with a really awful band like Hanson on it, that would work. Or just a shirt with some sort of nerd joke that only geeks would get (a geek in my high school used to have a t-shirt with all the numbers that make up Pi stretched out across the chest. Something like that would be awesome. Oh, bonus move- during the costume contest judging, get one of your friends to give you a wedgie- to show that you are, in fact, wearing tighty-whiteys!!! That will cause the applause to be off the chain, and applause is usually how these things are judged. Good luck with the keg!!!!!!

ok some good answers here... I especially like the wet hair from swirly idea. Suspenders are right on, as is the pocket protector, and bow tie.. Tape around glases is nice touch, but to take it over the edge remove the screw holding one of the legs (ear piece) and put it back on using a paperclip through the hole. pull up pants real high to give a perma-wedgie look. And do a bit of research on things like Cobalt language, Hexadecimal, and Esparanto or Klingon, and speak about those things all night. That keg is yours!!

Black glasses with tape around the middle, a bunch of pens in your shirt, dandruff in your hair, slightly funky teeth, but not over the top. When you laugh you have to be annoying.
When you talk about your first time - you have to say she is from the Niagara Falls area.
You can wear some ugly colored polyester pants with a shirt that so doesn't match. I don't know what kind of hair you have but look at nerds on the web for help.

Fake ugly front teeth (a must!). White shirt with bowtie, but the bowtie needs to be sloppy.. hanging sorta on the side. Oversized black pants so you can pull them up and belt them as high as possible. Have your zipper open and have your shirttail hanging out of it! Spray your hair black and use some gel to spike it all over. Have fun!

hrm.
Besides the pocketed, buttoned up tee with the highwaters pants? Maybe wear a bow, make a cowlick on your hair, carry a pocket calculator, maybe you could carry a backpack and lower it all the way down to your butt .. do you know what I mean by that? Oh! & you know what'll look cute? Look rich. Like idk, some nice pair of shiny black shoes if you own them, your shirt could be nicely ironed .. hah, I'm out. Hope this helps, and have fun!

lets see...slacks that go down to ur shins, button down shirt tucked in with a pocket protector, pens and a small calculator in that pocket protector, printed bow tie, wet hair as a result of a swirlie, bruises, high socks, and of course the classic big taped round glasses.

what else? what have you already got?
try black glasses with tape in the middle, clothes that are completely UNcoordinated, - go for plaids. bell-bottoms or pants that are floods - or pants that are floods AND bell-bottoms, a dress shirt and tacky tie that's too short, lots of pens in your pocket, messy hair or really neat hair styled and geled to your head, you could put a 'kick me' sign on your back too. platform boots or maybe geeky loafers.

Goodwill is a great place to get stuff to be a nerd. Glasses with tape around them, leg warmers, keds, suspenders. Good luck.
