Go to the church you want to be baptized in and talk to the priest. I don't think it's a lot of money. I was Confirmed in the Catholic faith and I think the classes and mass are free. If the classes weren't, it was such a low amount of money since I was very poor at the time. Baptisms and Confirmations for adults are in the same mass.

If you are attending church somewhere, there shouldn't be any cost at all. Speak with the pastor. There will be questioning on the pastor's part (they want to know if you have asked Jesus to live and rule in your life) and if you understand why you need to be baptized. If you are unsure of the answer to any of their questions, don't panic, they'll walk you through the answers.
Baptizm is the second biggest step you can take in your Christian life. May you be blessed.

If you don't have a church home, get rooted in one that suits your needs and feeds you the Biblical truth. Every person needs the support of their church family at some time or another.

the COST???? ok if a church tries to charge you to be baptized, run away and never look back, and find a new church! Are you a member of a church? They should do it there! Tell the pastor you want to be baptized. Usually they will want to do some kind of study session(s) with you to make sure you know what you are doing, the commitment you are making, what it means, etc. before you do it. If you dont have a regular church, you should find one before you get baptized...there's no point in getting baptized if you don't have a church to attend regularly.

No cost. Find a good church that teaches Jesus Christ, God, Son of God, savior - talk to the pastor. Baptism can be done anywhere, from the pulpit to a swimming pool to a stream - it doesn't matter. Some think you have to be submersed completely. While I don't think that is a prerequisite, I find the symbolism wonderful - death, burial and resurrection. But sprinkling is just fine. Just do it in obedience to God's will with the right heart!

The Bible says, "Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ for the remission of your sins and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost." Acts 2:38. The only cost to you is the offering of your soul to God, never more to live in the sins of your past.

No cost. Some churches want you to make a statement of faith or take a couple classes to confirm your belief.

I was baptized into a Baptist church, but I later became Presbyterian.

Email me if you have questions.

You don't have to pay to be baptized. Although you may be taking the wrong aproach you should go talk to a local preacher. Just pick a church and go in. They are there to help but you will know when you are ready to be baptized. God bless.

Go to a spirit baptized minister. He will administer Water Baptism in the name of the Triune God ( Matt. 28 : 19 ).Water Baptism is given only to a born-again child of God. (Mk. 16 : 16 ; Acts 19 : 5 ).

First of all let me explain the meaning of baptism. It is not for salvation. Baptism is an outward showing or public act performed by a church body to display that you believe that Jesus died for your sins, was raised from the dead, and saved us from our sins giving us the gift of eternal life. Your act of acceptance of Christ as your personal Saviour has to come first, or baptism is nothing more than getting wet. If you have received Christ, then all you have to do from there is go forward in a church service, tell the pastor that you have been saved, and that you would like to follow Him in believer's baptism. The pastor will usually ask if you want to join the church. I pray that you have already asked Christ into your heart, but if not, please do so today. Baptism is the act following Salvation that publicly displays your desire to follow Christ.

Good for you! God wants us to be baptized, and I am happy to see that you want to do this for him. In order to find out how to do this, go to your priest, pastor, or whoever leads your church. (You didn't mention what church or anything). I don't think it should cost anything.. I never heard of having to pay to be baptized. Good luck!

God Bless =0)
