I am 16 and bi. It doesn't bother people at my school who know, but how do I tell my parents??
If they didn't criticize any one who wasn't white and straight all the time, it wouldn't matter so much to me...but I dunno what to do.

My mom is VERY christian...n a lil mean. She doesn't like me dating people of any other race n she criticizes gay people way too much. Problem: I like making out with this Latino girl I know...which is as far as I'll go with a girl, btw. I want to tel her cause the more she talks about gay people n other races, the sicker I get. Any suggestions?

I have recently had experience when i became a member way too quick, then I realized that the church wasn't for me when it was too late. I visited a wonderful church today and had such a beautiful time, but I don't want to jump and just join without getting a sense of the ministry and their vision. What is your opinion? And, I will not entertain or acknowledge any advice from the ungodly, sorry, my Bible tells me not to ,so Christians who are saved only!!!Pls :)

It seems to be that I keep coming across Wiccans who preach love and exceptance, but also condem anyone who is solitary. They claim that they are not true Wiccans, but just sexually deprived christains. Isn't this just like christians comparing you to a satanist? Just because you dont have a coven doesnt mean that you do not share the same books, beliefs, practices, and rituals as other Wiccans. What if you have left a coven, then are you automaticaly a christian?

I do understand that there are many pretenders, and those who are just searching for their own path. But for those who have found Wicca their path, who is it to say they are not what they believe in? There are so many different types of Wicca. It seems some reverting to the view that my path is the only way, and if you dont follow it then you are condemed. Isn't this why so many left Chritianity? Considering half of Wiccans are currently soiltary, I believe Solitary Wiccan is a vaild title.

I'm asking coz the other day this happenned to me and I looked at their bikes and they got angry coz they thought I was looking at them and they started saying racist comments towards me coz I'm not white ya see. I was with my wife and son too and I couldn't do much except just look straight ahead. One of them poked his head thru my wifes window and it really scared her. What would you REALLY do?

As a pagan I have learned tolerance and patience, also love and peace. I apply what I learned on an every day basis, some days are harder than most however ;)

First let me discribe myself:

I'm short for your average black guy, 5'5". I'm light skinned, & I speak normal English at my jobs, not ghetto slang. &I try to treat everyone with respect.

Now here's the discrimination I recieve:

1) People always think I'm trying to be white because I speak normal English at work instead of speaking ghetto slang like the media's stereotypical view on black guys. So they basically think I'm fake and don't know how to be myself when I'm simply being professional & know I'm not getting a job speaking slang.

2) People usually think I'm gay. I think it's because I don't look or act like the media's stereotypical tall dark black guy with an attitude. I don't act like a flaming gay guy, so I see no other reason why they would think this.

3) People think I look angry all the time even when I'm calm & relaxed. I suspect it's because they're not used to working with black people.

It's always the white guys who think this. What do you think?

When whitie leaves home for work, they don't think about all the bad things that happen to them based on being white, because it does not happen to them. But if you are chinese like me, when I leave home for work, many things I can name happens to me in a bad way based on not being white, but yellow. Here is the list: walk through the office, no hellos, no visability, no social chatting initiated by other whities. No white girl will say, nice looking, or any attention like that. When I go for lunch, I don't get invited to the whitie group where they talk about their crazy spring break trip last week with all their white frat and sorority bimbos, but instead I sit at the bar lounge area for my meal and drink. Promotions come and go, I don't get noticed of course. My office is in a corner where people don't drop by to say hello. Any social chat I am in requires me to initiate. But all this does not apply when I go to an asian firm, people approach me all the time and friendly
