because if something goes wrong its going to be the leaders fault. Being a leader brings on to much stress, responbility, accountablity, ect. why not take a lesser position without all of that

i honestly think that people are afraid to lead because they are afraid of the truth because if someone mans up and takes the time to discover then they will kno wht they think they kno is a lie. They are afraid of what they are capble of. They dont want to be proved wrong because deep down i think everyone thinks there right thats why they say an opion can never be proven wrong.

Many people are just frightened in general.
For instance, at public meeting, very few people have the guts to ask questions of speakers.
