Should i Ignore this then?
"Lies, lies everything is lies
The very foundation of the Christmas holiday is a lie. The Messiah was not born December 25th. He did not ask us to celebrate his birthday. He did not say to set up a tree in our house and decorate it and our houses with anything. Santa Claus does not exist. He doesn't have reindeer that fly and he isn't going to come on December 25th and leave any gifts. Everything is a lie. Is Yahweh the originator of this holiday? Or is it the father of lies? Yahushua condemned the leaders of that generation for teaching lies:"

Still interesting in America that some people get blasted for free speech and thought....opps will be blasted now????
My idea of Christmas is the whole family getting together and celebrating whatever it is they celebrate. I personally don't think religion has to be included in the holiday. Theres a magic about the time of year with the lights and sights and the fun of everything.I think everything gets changed over time. Like the Bible....so many different versions of it and so many different religions...how could ANYTHING be the same as it once was. People and times change so naturally the version of things change. So maybe Christmas isn't really a lie...OK flying reindeer I will admit are a bit off the way....but its part of the magic of the whole experience.
So in my ramblings....Christmas to me is about what we all make of it in our own way...so no its not all a lie.

The statement does not contain lies BUT 25th December has become a special day for Christians to remember how and why Jesus came to earth. Other additions such as Christmas trees and Christmas lunch are just extensions to the celebrations. Be like Charles Dickens and hold Christmas to your heart as a special time with goodwill to all men and we might be able to extend this sentiment to the other 364 days of the year.

Well I think we the Christians need a holiday to reflect on the birth of our Savior, whether it was Dec.24 or Dec.25, who cares.
It's a holiday that brings the family together, however twisted some of the relatives are, to give gifts and just celebrate. Go to church and feel his presence and pray for the good life you have, give to the food bank and the Salvation Army so other people in your community can have a Christmas dinner. Hang out, play games, go tobogganing and include Uncle Harry, so he can get of the couch and be part of the family.

You know, satan is the father of lies, but also is a counterfit. When there is something good, he will mock it and make something counterfit about it to try to take the focus off God.
Jesus didn't tell us to celebrate his birthday, but I don't recall Him telling us not to. Christmas is a time to celebrate the birth of Christ, the son of God who is a God of festivals and jubilation. It is satans job to try to destroy that and rob us from the joy. He gets people to focus on the money, squabbling over the date, looking for a fictional character, all to take the focus off of the true meaning, and for many, it seams by some of the answers here, he has been succesful in getting them to hate Christmas altogether.
Don't be afraid to seek the truth, hold onto it and spit out the lies. But, knowing that what Santa has been made into today, is in my opinion, no worse than going to Disneyland to hang around with Micky Mouse and Goofy. Keep it all in perspective and don't let the negative, religious, or hateful people steal your joy.
Look at all the good that comes from Christmas. Jesus said if people are not against Him then they are for Him. Whether people believe in the birth of Christ or not, there are many wonderful things at Christmas time and surely that makes the heart of God glad. His message from the angels that night was 'Peace on earth, good will toward man'. This is the true Christmas message, 'For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son.......' John 3:16
Merry Christmas to all !!!!!!!

NO JESUS NOR HIS FATHER could APPROVE. it may sadden them because of the certainty human beings chosen a guy made custom over what the Bible teaches. they could view it as idolatry and could discover it detestable. MARK 7:13- And to that end you're making the be attentive to God invalid via your custom which you surpassed down. and somewhat some issues equivalent to this you do. Christmas and all different vacations are no longer of bible truths. The Bible would not tell while Jesus replaced into born different than the shepherds have been nonetheless tending the sheep interior the pastures. December in that area of the worldwide could be chilly and sheep could be in barns. If it replaced into soooo important to have a good time Jesus birthday does no longer or no longer it relatively is pronounced. Christmas, Easter and ALL different vacations are Traditions of guy, and what did that scripture say bout traditions? the only concern Jesus pronounced to have a good time replaced into his loss of life, no longer his resurrection. What he completed replaced into upon his loss of life. LUKE 22:19- additionally he took a loaf, gave thank you, broke it, and gave it to them asserting: this suggests my physique that's given on your behalf. shop DOING THIS IN REMEMBERENCE OF ME.

OK, so don't buy me a present.
Christmas is the time when Christians in the western world celebrate God's gift to us of his son. OK so we don't know when Jesus was born. We've pinched the day (and the stable) from Mithraism and the tree from Germanic animism. Santa Claus is a revolting American confection of Father Christmas (more Germanic animism), St Nicholas and Jimmy Durante. What does it matter - enjoy it.

Yes, you should ignore the lies. Peace on Earth, Good Will to Everyone. Relax and have some eggnog. Let those of us who do celebrate the holiday, do so. If you celebrate something else, or nothing at all, have at it with our good wishes.

In the UK Christmas is in the middle of the winter and if you do not want to believe in anything else, be happy and use it to celebrate the friendship of family and friends - of all faiths.
Santa Claus does exist in all family loving adults and does somehow manage to visit all good people and their children.
Do hope he visits you !

Yes Christmas is basically totally based on lies but isn't it good to celebrate something nice for a change and people to give to others instead of being take, take, take.

Christmas was not asked to be celibrated, none of it is. The Bible does not tell you not to either. You can't base everything on if the Bible tells you can...unless you want to use not electricity, the Bible does not speak of that, or you don't want to wear anything but robes, because the Bible talks of robes.
You can choose to do what you wish. I recommend reading the screw tape letters by C.S. Lewis.
