I was driving to work today and there was a sign outside a local Baptist church...The sign read as follows...It is who you know that will get you in Heaven" I am not a religious fanatic but it really bothered me. I am Catholic and was wondering if this was something that the Baptist truly believe?

i remember my HR telling a code, that there is some combination.. light plain shirt,dark pants and there is this color of tie,belt,socks and shoes that has to match.. am not sure which has to match what, please help

I want to do a Christmas play/3 Kings Day play at my church with the hispanic kids, a play that they can put on in spanish for thier parents. Not that it matters but I'm not Catholic I go to a church of the Nazarene (I know Catholic and Nazarene are both Christian) please help me if you can, gracias

I am NOT endorsing recreational drug abuse. I think it is a waste of a life to be an addict. I just think if you are an addict or if you are young and want to experiment, you are going to get the drug so easily. Shouldn’t it be a safer product that benefits someone other than gangs and international drug growers and terrorists and smugglers?

Parents need to take responsibility for their kids and teach them the dangers of drugs just like with alcohol, trans fat, crossing the street, etc. We need to STOP believing that just because there are laws against drugs, our kids can’t get them.

Lets face it: school age kids can NOW get their hands on illegal drugs easier than cigarettes. If kids want to experiment with drugs, they can get them no so easy. I’d rather trust the pharmacist at Rite-aid to say no to my kid then the drug pusher or gang banger.

Tax money could be directed to high risk kids and free treatment! Drug Dealers & Gang Bangers put instantly out of business!

Have you ever purchased a movie ticket and when the cashier says, "Enjoy your movie", you respond "You, too".

Or telling someone "Okay, I love you, bye" when getting off the phone with them. At work.

There is strong evidence that the stories from the Bible are retold stories from Sumeria , Egypt and surrounds. There are a lot of similarities between the Jesus stories and stories from ancient Eygpt , the Virgin birth,the flood, crucifiction all predate the bible by centuries.

Are we losing the battle with time? Technology rapidly advances everyday, yet we cannot keep up with our busy schedules! My theory is that the devil cannot get us to be bad so he is keeping us so busy that we cannot be effective. We are continually distracted. When will we realize that we need to get back to a simple life? Will our kids be the victims? Where does it stop? What is your experience? How does your busy life hamper your ability to be effective in your life as a Christian wife, mom, care provider, friend, etc. Is it just me??? Ideas please. Thank you!! :)

I don't believe it, we have just had trick or treaters at the door, asking for sweets and money, and when we told them to come back next week, they got all offended!! AND my mum said that she had some come to the door last week!!

I say you are an adult when you get a job, move out and pay your own bills. You can be 40 and still be living at home and your parents paying your bills and that hardly makes you an adult.
