Have you ever purchased a movie ticket and when the cashier says, "Enjoy your movie", you respond "You, too".

Or telling someone "Okay, I love you, bye" when getting off the phone with them. At work.

Have any good stories of times you've done things like this?

I am so glad I am not the only one who does this. Just the other week my wife and I were visiting a friend (at the friend's house). As we were leaving, the friend/host said "drive carefully". Being the idiot that I am, I responded "You too".

I honestly don't think the friend noticed. My wife and I had a good laugh about it later. Now "drive carefully" is our running joke.

I always become a retard when I talk on the phone, so I always do things like that. Especially when I leave messages on answering machines. Just now I left a message for an admissions officer for a college I'm applying to, and totally forgot to leave my phone number!
