I thought about balloons but how to they stay put? Do I have to buy a large bra. and if so, how big? Will is be comfortable?

Get one of the 'waterbras' and add some extra stuffing below. My cousin told me about her waterbra - which is a bra with water pouches sewn right into the bra. You should be able to find at any department store.
Oh - and somewhere on the internet you can find fake 'nipples' to apply to finish the entire effect.

If you have a theater/stage makeup store near you, you can go there and they should have latex and other components needed to fashion fake boobs.

I think you can get blow up boobs at most costume stores. They are thicker than baloons and shouldn't pop if squeezed too hard. You might also try an "adult" toy store.

I would just get a large bra and fill it with the classic: socks.
People will defiantly try and cop-a-feel and you don't want anything erupting on you!!

If you want to make them realistic-feeling, fill the toe-ends of a pair of nylons with bird seed. Cut and tie the stockings off.
