What is the criteria for a denomination to be labeled Christian? I always thought it was simply that they had to believe that Jesus Christ is their personal savior for the forgiveness of thier sins. Does that pretty much sum up the base-line doctrine of Christianity? How does Mormonism compare to this base-line doctrine?

Christian or non-Christian doesn't make Mormons fundementally evil. Sin is sin. We are to hate the sin and love the sinner no matter what. I only ask because I'd like to know what people think.

I'll keep trying. Either the previous responders are more intent on being smart, or they don't understand the question.

We all know that we recognise someone as male or female. Not talking about whether we are gay or not - that is not relevant. We might prefer one gender or the other, whether they are the same as we are or the other. But how do we know ? What is it about the face of a human that tells us instictively their gender. We can tell without any obvious clues, like hair style, make-up, etc.

Just think. Most of the people you see today - how little of their face do you need to see to determine their gender. Not a lot.

About a week ago I noticed this guy following me everywhere. He never said anything to me but was everywhere I went. A couple of days ago I started to hear his voice in my head (even tho i never had heard his voice before, I knew it was his). I heard him talking to me from the closet. He was telling me not to be afraid, that he wasn't going to hurt me, and when I opened the closet doors he was gone. Yesterday he was sitting on my bed and he was telling me he was going to rape and kill me, so i ran out of my room and hide inside the cupboard in the kitchen for an hour so i could make sure I was safe. Some how he got out of my house without anyone noticing.

What to I do?

I applied for an office job, and they said I was well-qualified but the reason they didn't hire me is because I don't speak Spanish. HELLO!.....THIS IS THE U.S! Since when did it become a requirement to speak both English and Spanish to get a freakin' office job? I'm NOT racist, but I have to say that I think it's wrong to discriminate against me because I don't speak the language of ANOTHER COUNTRY.....I think that everyone who wants to live here in the U.S. should HAVE to learn English or go back where they came from.........

if she can come with you to your hotel apartment room after you both finish drinking, you then decide that your "luck is in" and you excuse yourself and say you are going to the Toilet, leaving your drink unattended. On your return, your drink appears to have been disturbed ( its swirling ) and your Lady friend is smiling, what would you do next, go to your Hotel room with your new lady-friend or make exuses and leave the Bar without touching the drink ?

We're throwing a Halloween party on Friday. How do we keep the neighbors from calling the police. There will be costumes, music, dancing, and alcoholic drinks.

Last time we threw one, a pissed off nieghbor came to the door at 12 am, demanding that we break it up or she would call the cops. The next door neighbors don't care, but some of the other neighbors do I guess.

when I confront them about and ask them why I was referred to as long story and told them what it means to be reffered to as a long story and that it hurt when they said that, they offered no response to me, but, then they tell somebody else to never let other people tell you what you think.

Why couldn't he tell me that?

Why do some people refuse to express themsleves to the people they care about, but, do it freely to somebody else? This is not the first time for him.

i ask him to tell me how he feels, but, he still goes to other people.

last night i had ad dream i was at a party with my ex boyfriend and i was sitting on a bed and a queen bee flew in the window and landed on my leg. it didnt sting me it just crawled up my calf. it flew off then and once it did i pulled the duvet over me . then i woke up. that same night i had anothr dream about a girl at college that dislikes me because im white. my mum fostered her and me and the girl had a fight and i injured her badly. my mum had chargs put on me by the police. i cant understand any of these

I only wish to work in an enviroment that is holy and rightous. I have been working in sales for many years and finding myself unable to do so ; because I fear it does not line up with the word of God?
