what's with the number 12?

it sounds rehearsed or plagiarised from pagan religions doesnt it?

the word holocaust means- "a ritualistic, sacrificial, burnt offering" why would a jewish rabbi refer to the attempted genocide of his people as a sacrificial offering?

If everyone would just live in harmony and no one stated that one religion was better than the other. That everyone was allowed to believe what they wanted to believe with out anyone saying they are going to Hell etc. What do you think this world would be like?

My name is mike and I have alot of friends, but this is about my best friend. She and I really became close and started telling each other everything over this last year and we hung out pretty much everyday. But twords the end of the summer and now that I am in college and she is in high school she seems to go out of her way to be away from me. She hints that she doesnt want me to come home on the weekends even though I am only an hour away, even when everybody else is busy and she wouldnt have anything to do. She doesnt really reply to phone calls or myspace messages anymore and I am getting the feeling now that she feels like she cant hang out with me anymore unless her boyfriend is around (he is my other best friend). There is also somebody else who I think I was replaced with. She does the things with her she used to do with me. In she doesnt really even call me anymore. Idk it just hurts because I am putting all this effort in to saving the friendship and getting nothing in return

When the indians needed rain for their crops during dry seasons....they performed a rain dance and requested rain from the "great eagle spirit".

When it rained they felt that their prayers were answered.

However, isn't it true that their prayers were also being answered when it DIDN'T rain??? (That answer being "NO, you can't have rain right now")

Why do people claim that "God" has power over EVERYTHING, when it is clear that the GREAT EAGLE SPIRIT is in charge of the rain?

the most obvious one i can think of is the "son on the cross" bit- which is clearly a reference to the age-old symbol of a circle with a cross on it, in which the circle represents the SUN and the cross represents the four seasons. if one divides each section into three equal sections, they are left with the 12 houses of the zodiac (or desciples).

If HARRY POTTER's world does exist in our world, what would happen then? Will we become hostile or friendly toward THEM?

Let say that they somehow declare their existence right now. They wish to cooperate together with us to fight tthe common enemy together and they wish to share their knowledge with us. What would we do?

Will we accept them with open hand or such severe prejudice? Are we going to have such better civilization... or worse? What would happen to humanity as a whole then? What kind of world do you think would occur here (in our MUGGLE world) and there (in their WIZARDRY & WITCHCRAFT world)? Could science & magic just... get along?
