Man invented god to keep the masses under control. Seems they succeeded, even to this day with alot of folks.

It's hard for us to understand how something can be eternal, as everything we have ever known on theis earth has had a begining and almost assuredly will have an end. but God has always been around. Nothing started him he is the greatest power there ever is. And as he never had a beginning he will never have an end. I think you know the answer to this question, just that as humans we can't really grasp the idea, just like it's hard to understand how vast and enormous the universe and our solar system are. But even though we don't quite understand something's greatness doesn't mean it's not true.

You make this question impossible to answer. It is like telling us to solve a math problem without using numbers or to write a story without using words. (if you are going to say it can be done by pictures, then that is not writing)

The point is, no one made GOD. There was never a time that HE did not exist. The question does not make sense either because if someone did make GOD, then the question would be who made the one that made GOD and then who made that one and on and on. Just like that myth that Atlas held the Earth up. Well the problem is...what was holding Atlas up?

The fact my friend...is that it all started with GOD. He is the great I AM...the self existent one. He has no beginning and no end.

If we say that someone "made God" then we who made that person or who made that person etc. So atheist like to say Aha! God is illogical that proves it! (how they can tell whether a thing is logical or illogical it beyond me).
"has been. somebody, somewhere, had to start the whole thing."
I agree, Somebody had to have started the whole thing. Like God or something I don't know where we get these crazy Ideas.

Well, I asked a similar question, but I guess I put in too many details, because the few Christians who bothered to "answer" completely missed my point.

For the record, I completely agree with what you're asking. How is it any less logical to believe that the universe just "fell together" exactly as it is than it is to believe that some sort of powerful omniscient being who has an agenda just "fell together"?

We need to first find out who God is, only then can we find out where He came from.
All the people of the world translate word of God literally. If it was so easy to understand why did the prophets need to write the word of God in Hymns and parables.
The God we are disconnected from, is not any part of the material world. The only way we can understand God is through examples of the material world. That is what religion is. Examples of the God Who can't be easily explained.
What I understand from what I have read is that God is the minutest particle of this creation. It manifests itself in two ways. In one manifestation it creates the material world, and in the other, it creates intelligence. Life is the result of these two manifestations.
In essence, the God we are disconnected from is the basis of our minds. It is that matter that makes our minds work. It is right there making our minds work and we are totally unaware of it.

O. K., let's for a moment assume someone or something "made" God. If that were true, wouldn't someone have to have made them, or it? Where is the end of the universe? What's on the other side of that? Sorry, but my final answer has to be what you don't want to hear.

Modern revelation has revealed that God had a set of Parents as everyone else has. His genealogy must run back in an unfathomable direction.

God started from the same thing that all that matter and energy from the Big Bang started from. Nothing.

First Cause is the answered question of all origins.

"So long as the universe had a beginning, we could suppose it had a creator. But if the universe is completely self-contained, having no boundary or edge, it would neither be created nor destroyed ... it would simply be. What place, then, for a creator?"

I'm sure that this question has been asked MANY millions of times, and will contilnue to be asked till the end of time.

Of course, once time ends, I guess nobody will worry about beginnings, or endings, any more...they'll "just be".

That ought to be interesting, don't you think?
