My husband believes that the King James Version Bible is the only "true" version of the Bible since it was translated directly from the original Hebrew and Greek. I believe there is at least one other version that was translated directly from the original Scriptures. Does anyone know what that version is?

I am healthy but not physically perfect. Nothing that can not be fixed. I started taking good care of myself in my early twenty's hoping to find that girl of my dreams but now find myself alone and with no family of my own. I do not drink or smoke anymore and have not for a long time. I was working out regularly and turning heads till I went to Iraq and was exposed to GOD knows what, (Depleted uranium, chemical from 1980, and heavy food preservitives from MRE's)! Since my health has declined I lost my motivation to work out much anymore but still wonder, why some girls liked my looks and some do not? What are your thought's please!

If a man builds a bridge and the bridge falls down, should he teach bridge-building?

If you repeatedly cheat on your spouse, should you teach others about marriage?

If you do not love God enough to stop sinning, are you setting a good example for others on how to love God?

Why does Yahoo tolerate such venomous, yet irrelevant postings?
Evil abounds here, and in fact, good luck ever finding a website with a forum or questions/answers about "religion" that isn't dominated by
foaming at the mouth, hate-filled, profane, ugly-thinking atheists.

I am not sure if I am, but I want to know how other people have done it. I need info...Do bi's also 'come out' or do they hide mostly? If I am interested in girls, I am not attracted to the typical looks girls have, it's more the butch look/or at least short hair. I have long hair. Do most lesbian cut their hair to 'come out'? Do you have to dress any differently? I mean, I am aware of some young lesbians' garbs with piercings and all (which I find to an extent attractive). But I am not that brave!!! I think they're brave to be able to proclaim to the world they are. I come from a very conservative (no-forgiving) family who will NEVER understand if I ever did decide I want to pursue this discovery. I want to conform to society, yet I don't in a way (if it means not being true to myself). But all in all, I want to find a safe place where I can be myself and be safe, but not necessarily confined to a region. I just want to have the right balance in expressing this sexuality.

Has your minister, priest, preacher, rabbi, etc. ever advised his/her congregation how to vote -- either for candidates or "yes" or "no" on certain legislation?
-
If so, did you / will you vote accordingly?
-
If not, would you follow the dictates of your minister, if asked by your clergyman to vote a certain way?
-
Do you think it's right or wrong that ministers tell churchgoers who to vote for, or how to vote on certain issues?
-
Please mention your religion when answering. Thank you.
