he who says that he is without sin is a lier. Christians still do battle with the flesh and often lose. Priase God that we do not have to earn or maintain our salvation because of the blood of Christ and the grace of God which is sufficent

This question is several question, and it might require several answers but lets see if I got it right.

First the love for God seem out of scope here. A sin is the breaking of some value. My guess here is that its one imposed on by one of many different human created ( religions ).

These beliefs can be copared to the early thought that the world was flat and that we would fall of the edge of the world. Pre-Columbus teaching so stated this. It was all we knew then.

When we were children we believed in Santa. Religions are Tax free shelters in todays economy, and the U.S. is flooded with almost every possible church one can think of.

Some even make it a point to SIN. Like the radical leader of the WorldChurch of the Creator ( Matt Hale ). This guy is a White
Supremacist

The message here is that Churches and beliefs can be the most destructive entities man has ever created. All of them are representatuions of a primal instrict for man to belong. Like the present day Gangs of the inner cities. The value rendered is that there is power in numbers.

Like Santa, God is an image in your head. A need to believe... Not anything tangible or of any real value. The real value is in being nice to others. You can drink beer after dinner and go home to your family, or you can get drunk out of you mind and kick the dog when you stumble into the house at 4am.

Which one was a SIN ?

This should clear the scope problem. The fact is that there are some real nice people out there in this world, and they control themselves just fine without the need of some supper power God or Gods whicheve it might be.

The intent of the ESOP FABLES were to teach people lessons on how to act. They serve as a good way to guid a person. A chuich and a GOD do nothing but collect groups of people up against other groups. Ben not a Lemming !

You have the power like every one on earth ! Today I drove 5 miles over the limit ! Forgive me for I now have a sin.

The other side iof the question had more to do with should someone who failed in a task be alowed to teach others .

Well, yes and no. Failure can be the best teacher. For one, this person has insight into what does not work. A man that builds a bridge that falls might be a poor bridge builder, but this person has valuable insight into knowiong how NOT to build one.

Failure in our society has a bad rap... In fact failure is what drives our learning process. The ultimate teacher. Today we don't play Tic-Tac-Toe anymore. For one thing there can never be a winner to this game, but mostly because we cannot loose. If it is payed right you never loose. I don't play chess anymore. I win all the time !! It really sucks cause when I lost to my father I woulds always try my hardest to get that WIN.

In the Star Trek series Spock once said. " It is sometimes better to want than to have. It is not logical, but it is often true. "

These were from the original series, and a long time ago.

Should a person who lost a marriage be allowed to teach.. Yes ! This person can tell us what when wrong, and why. Bad is not always bad, and good is often worse than we can know.

In life nothing is always as it appears. Also just because someone teaches something, dosne not make them an Absolute authority on any issue. All teachings are a viewpoint of the teacher. When we get taught it is important that we maintain our own version of this teaching, and not loose our values simply because a teacher did not share them. Likewise this answer might seem like the wrong one to someone, and in a case like that it should only be accepted as a point of view. In contrast an open mind would be far more willing to accept it all as Gospel. In the end... Its only an answer to an internet posed question. An attempt to be the RIGHT answer without any weighted indifference.

The problem with your question is you assert that we as a fallen humanity, corrupted by sin, can love God enough so that we might stop sinning.
By your acknowledgement of sin, you have nullified your question. It is because of sin we cannot love God enough. Being sinless is not a matter of love, therefore, because it is sin that makes us incapable of loving God enough. We are then left with the next human option - THE WILL. We assume if we are only strong enough or have enough will power we can refrain from sin, but yet, as Christ, Luther, St. Augustine (and St. Paul) have shown, our will is bound to sin(fullness) and while we might be able to do good, we are not able to "not do evil." Lastly we are left with intellect or WISDOM - somehow knowing the right thing will keep me from doing the wrong (ala Socrates, I believe it was). Sin is therefore a miscalculation by the intellect. Again, St. Paul in Romans and I Corinthians puts an end to this notion regarding wisdom (knowledge).
Bottom line is we cannot keep from sinning, but this does not give us license to sin either (that is cheap grace). It is only through the power of the Holy Spirit that we do any good, in a new obedience to God having received the gift of faith. For salvation, there is the forgiveness of sins through the blood of Christ.
So, the answer is we should not look for other people to set a good example on how to love God, because we are fallen and imperfect. The example has to be Jesus Christ, not us. His example is perfect and sinless.

Our love for God does not come from our works, not sinning specifically, but it comes from our faith. If we could love God enough to stop sinning, then Christ would never have had to die on the cross. I love God but I am not strong enough to stop sinning, and for that reason I would be destined for hell. But Christ does love me enough, so that there is no condemnation.
If you repeatedly cheat on your spouse, then you have a problem. But that doesn't mean that you can't be forgiven. If your spouse truly loves you then their faith will keep the marriage together, and in time the cheating will stop. Love is patient, longsuffering, kind, and pure.
Some things harder for one person than they are for the next but we shouldn't judge. Just love in our own way. A marriage isn't a failure just because someone cheats.

That is correct. Jesus told us to leave our life if sin. Obviously we're going to mess up here and there but the thing to do then is repent and change.

When a believer sins, it feels foreign to him and he feels lousy about it and eventually changes.

When an unbeliever sins, he is right at home. Whatever shred of belief or faith they have in God never has any bearing on whether he decides to change or not. We see people like that all the time, even in our own families!

I have a wonderful beautiful marriage,, three fantastic children,, a good career,, I am a leader in my community, and have a very active social life,,

I love my family and I do not believe in your god.

I also do not believe I should shove my belief system down the throats of those who are not asking for it.

Listen, it is Hard Enough just to Live on this Earth.
Some Sins are Hard to Get Out of.
The Only Time you will Lose is when you Quit Trying to Stop Sinning.
Give Out but NEVER GIVE UP.
GOD is on YOUR SIDE when Ever ANYBODY tries to get out of SIN.
Keep on Keeping on.

You are absolutely right, before a sinner can tell other people to do good, first of all he must repent to the God. The door to repentance is always open. God is merciful .

It does kind of show where our heart is...not to forget the bondage that results when we give in to sin. Romans 6 is a great place to break free.

And, by extension, are you setting a good example by assuming an unseen audience has to be lectured to?
