Lilith was the first wife of Adam. You will find stories of her in The Jewish Midrash---stories and legends. She turned out to be a demon and was sent to the land of Nod, and away from Adam.
Then, a more compatible wife was created for Adam..........Eve.

Well, let's start with the last part first. Lilith was supposedly the first wife of Adam. She was a "woman's libber" and was banished. As to why God created mankind, only He knows for sure, but my theory is that He was tired of animals and angels. Neither of them have free will, so they cannot choose to freely love Him and receive His love. Forcing somebody to "love" you isn't very fulfilling, unless you are a psycho. And God definitely isn't one of them.

we will never ever know. I think god wanted pets and didn't wanna take care of em. So he made humans to pick up the lion's dung, and keep the carrots growin, so he could relax in the warmth of mercury.
No, I've had so many questions of god, and so many that I really want to know, and it's no joke to me, but science, atheism, and the rest of the world don't cooperate with the one who really wants to know if God is out there, and why he did this or that. Figuring out your own definition of God, and fitting that to yourself and to reality will help. Who is god to you? and why would he do this or that? For me, at least, the world will not answer these questions, so I figure out my own.
