Ok. obviously white ppl dont know what i feels like to be a minority. (aka black, hispanic, asian...not white) So they have no right to say "why do u always think im racist?" or "god, u always think somebody is racist" when we say "its cause im a minority"
they dont know what it feels like to be in our shoes, therefore they dont need to judge. They will never know what i feels to have disadvantages, or feel lower than others, just because of the color of their skin.

do u agree?

They are being narrow minded and they are acting like they are right

a princess went out walking
and sat upon a log
she heard the faintest croaking
of a tiny little frog

he sadly looked up at her
with his big old bulging eyes
she picked him up and kissed him
then to her surprise

the forest started trembling
she fell off of the log
then when things had settled
she had turned into a frog

so hand in hand they hopped away
as merry as could be
and lived happily ever after
in their hole beneath a tree.

I'm a senior in high school and I'm going to this costume party the weekend before Halloween. Now, I'm trying to give myself a shot at a girl or two so I'm not trying to look stupid/funny. I want to look good. If its a costume that conveys confidence and power...it probably wouldnt hurt my chances. So give me some good costumes. I'm not that muscular, so dont tell me pop-eye.

Someone on this site once posted the Christians wars, inquisition, witch burnings. The years and number killed were listed. It totalled over 100 million. So Christians are definitely more violent than Muslims. Christians destroyed and are currently occupying 2 Muslim nations.

appreciated my spiritual heritage.

BUt I noticed what this YA girl posted (herecomesthesun) today, and want to know if any single sisters noticed this as well. When I was single, I used to feel like some single brothers thought ALL the single sisters were desperate. I had one tell me "we outnumber you, so you have to take what you can get"...

Why do you feel like this? This was discouraging to me when I was single, and if i hadn't found my current BF/potential fiance, I'd of just rather be single than faced this attitude.

If I were to tell you that you could make miraculous changes in your life and the world around you, simply by dwelling on the positive - peace, love, prosperity and happiness - could you? Will you, please? From this moment to the end of the day (Oct. 17) - I would really appreciate it.

Peace!

Knowlege tames nature by understanding it as it is; religion neither tames nature nor understands it correctly.

For the women:

Do you prefer...Ma'am, young lady, dear, miss or hun?

For the men:

Do you prefer...Sir, guy, fella, young man, or son?

Also, how do you feel when you are in mixed company,(i.e. in a restaurant), and they call you (all) guys?

Thanks. Your serious comments on this is appreciated.

No Bible or religous text, and no scientific text of any kind:

Non-believers,what is it that torments your soul, and devieces your mind to make you percieve and concieve the notion that there is no god?Beyond a shadow of a doubt what is it that has you mind convienced that you would be foolish to believe in god?

The same question posed to the believers, what has you convinced no questions,no doubts,no regrets that you made the right choice to believe in god?

No science of any kind, and no biblical refrences;lets here it straight from the donkey's mouth.

Let's see....for me maybe it would be the simple fact that everything no matter how big or small has a creator; weather that be a table or a chair made by a human; or a nest in a tree made by a bird; everything has someone or something that created it.A pepperoni pizza has a chef that made it,an electronic device a man or machine,an ant tunnel some ants.It would be foolish to say we dont have a creator that made us.

I'm not really familiar with scientology, but as far as I can tell fundamentally they're both religions that are based on a book, (admitedly the bible's a little under 2000 years old, but still just a book). That consits of, what any reasonable person would read as fiction (i.e. talking snakes, global floods, people turning into salt pillars, and scientology has something to dowith aliens?, etc....).

So really is the base of each religion that much different? In 2000 years will we all be walking around worshipping aliens, and wearing tin-foil hats?

p.s.
If someone could summarize scientology into a paragraph (or better yet a sentence or bullet point) for me I'd appreciate it. I'm too lazy to look it up for myself. :p

Do we wonder how it was constructed? Do we wonder why someone would want to build it? Do we wonder who built it?

Seriously, should a "wonder" be more difficult to construct, more mysterious, or just more beautiful?

I am trying to find out about some Pagan beliefs. I have been told that the early Catholic church had actually co-opted a lot of the rituals from Paganism of that time. Some of these are the celebration of Christmas, and Easter. I have been told that the worship of a trinity is from Paganism originally. I have been told that the worship of Mary was actually came from a Sun God's mother.

I am not trying to be hateful. I do not know anyone that can give me honest answers to these questions. I need someone in Paganism to help me clear this up.

Not trying to start a fight. Just get information from the source.

First -- is anyone here REALLY surprised to find that yet another person was raped by a religious leader during their childhood?

Second -- how do the religious, right-wing republicans feel abot this "claim" he's making? They always get mad and claim that this is a "liberal" cop-out, to blame others for their pedophilia -- now, one of their own is (once again) playhing the "I was molested as a child" card to place blame for their behavior on someone or something else.

How will this play out? And, are any of you surprised to find yet another child-rape victim from inside a "house of bible"?
