No Bible or religous text, and no scientific text of any kind:

Non-believers,what is it that torments your soul, and devieces your mind to make you percieve and concieve the notion that there is no god?Beyond a shadow of a doubt what is it that has you mind convienced that you would be foolish to believe in god?

The same question posed to the believers, what has you convinced no questions,no doubts,no regrets that you made the right choice to believe in god?

No science of any kind, and no biblical refrences;lets here it straight from the donkey's mouth.

Let's see....for me maybe it would be the simple fact that everything no matter how big or small has a creator; weather that be a table or a chair made by a human; or a nest in a tree made by a bird; everything has someone or something that created it.A pepperoni pizza has a chef that made it,an electronic device a man or machine,an ant tunnel some ants.It would be foolish to say we dont have a creator that made us.

Lack of belief is my default state of mind. I tend not to believe news outlets, politicians, celebrities, and/or those annoying evangelists that go door to door. Everybody lies. So, is it all that surprising that I don't believe religious authorities?

If I showed you a pepperoni pizza, and asked you to tell me the exact name of the person who made it, what would you say? You'd probably say, "How would I know?" Maybe you'd be able to give me the name of the pizzeria that made it, but if I asked you for the name of the specific person who made it, you wouldn't have a clue. You'd be able to tell me that it was designed, but other than that, you'd have no way of knowing who exactly made it.

That's the example that I like to use regarding why I call myself nonreligious. Religious people always love to use examples that are supposed to prove that the universe was "designed." Okay, maybe it WAS designed. But who did the designing? Christians automatically answer "God!" But how do you know? How do you know it wasn't Allah? How do you know it wasn't Zeus? How do you know it wasn't any other god from the other thousands of religions in the world? Hell, how do you even know that it wasn't MULTIPLE designers?

Granted, I don't agree with the proposition that the universe was "designed" by a "designer," but even if you were to somehow prove that it was, that doesn't prove Christianity. Other religions could look at that evidence and say it proves THEIR religions as well. That's why I'm skeptical of Christianity; so far, no one has been able to show me any reasons why the CHRISTIAN God did the designing and no other god did.

Response from a believer:

For me I heard it from the proverbial donky's mouth. (yes I am sory for the horrible biblical pun)

My original belief was from the phisical experience of Satan trying to stop me. My continued belief is from the physical experience of God's grace and mercy but more so from the conversations I have with Jesus. You can read in the news paper, see pictures on t.v. and even be told by friends and family that your best friend is dead but you will never believe it as long as your best friend is right next to you talking, cuffing you up side the head when you lip off and being the general pain in the neck that makes you like them so much.

When I started to believe and practice Christianity, and my life unwillingly had gotten better. Also, my stress and anxiety problems had become non-existant to minimal.Life in general jas been ten times better. My outcome lets me know the decisions I made to get where I need to go was correct.

This is easy.
When I look deep into my eyes(not at my eyes) I see and reconnect with my inner spirit; which is the same spirit/Life force that is within all creation; and it is the same spirit we emanated from.

Typical "argument through personal incredulity" seen it, debated it, defeated it, done with it.
