Since the Jews gave up and became peaceful, since Christianity finally got out of the hands of power hungry Europeans, I would have to say Islam.
You have teachings, traditions, and even sections of the Quran that could compel any person reading it with a brain to committ acts of violence against Jews and Christians as Muhammad did himself during his reign. The more moderate Muslims that do not engage in violence do so in favor of their personal philosophy and distaste for bloodshed. Islam is not only violent to "unbelievers" but it also riddled with sectarian violence; something Christianity and Judaism grew out of.
Islam could one day renounce violence but it isnt going to make it any more truthful, they will still deny Jesus as the Son of God!

Scientific Inquiry.
They created the ABC's: Atomic, Biological and Chemical weapons. With toxic waste and non-abc bombs and guns for giggles.
The greatest amount of suffering and death in this world award is given to the scientific community, who has given the deadliest arsenal ever conceived to the militaries of this sad world.

Historically I think it Xianity...the Crusades,.the Inquisition, witch hunts, various purges of different christian sects (eg Catholic vs Protestants) etc. And they have a 600 year headstart on Islam.
Islam is No 2, but trying harder these days.
EDIT
Zero, Hitler wasn't an atheist, he was a christian. Look it up.
Mao and Stalin were atheist, but their brutal regimes were based on personality cult dictatorships (like the Christian, Hitler) And all of them are just latter half 20th century. Christians have been torturing and slaughtering in the name of god for 19 centuries before that.

Christianity has killed over 100 million people. Someone on this site had the dates of each war, inquisition, witch burning, crusades listed and detailed. The grand total of all these Christian activities was over 100 million non-believers killed.
