a princess went out walking
and sat upon a log
she heard the faintest croaking
of a tiny little frog
he sadly looked up at her
with his big old bulging eyes
she picked him up and kissed him
then to her surprise
the forest started trembling
she fell off of the log
then when things had settled
she had turned into a frog
so hand in hand they hopped away
as merry as could be
and lived happily ever after
in their hole beneath a tree.

I was expecting the frog will turn into a prince and maybe that was what the princess was thinking as well because why would she readily pick and kiss it seeing the frog's old bulging eyes. It is so disgusting. What was she thinking? But you caught me by surprise there, very creative poem. Did you make it yourself? You sure are a talented person. Goodluck!

Yes, I do like this poem. It is sweet and has a surprise ending. It's well written and has a nice "beat" to the words. I think you should try to publish it as it does stand a good chance.

I liked it. Frogs are cool. I saw a thing on Nature about Cuba and they have the world's smallest four-legged animal--a teeny-weeny frog only 1/4 inch long. Isn't that the sweetest thing? It was sooooo cuuuuute!
I like the turnaround in the story!

I think the poem is fine. I think it sounds like a poem you can read to your young children. It makes you realize, you don't have to be a princess to be in love or to be happy.

I like that instead of the frog turning into a prince the princess turns into a frog. Its pretty good!
