Jesus was a great man. But let me ask you. If He were great, would He lie? Of course not. If He were great, would He be insane?

I happened to stumble actross this site. It exposes christianity pretty well, but sadly has some major flaws. Some of the answers actually are arguments against christianty, and others remain unanswered by the Site´s empty words.
The more I love Jesus the more i pity christianty

I mean, did you know that it was God and only God that did whatever it was that happened. Like it could not have been any other way, or any other person that did what happened, and did it possible make your spirituality stronger, just knowing that God did this for you?

Nothing could be more absurd. Long before these commandments were given there were codes of laws in India and Egypt -- laws against murder, perjury, larceny, adultery and fraud. Such laws are as old as human society; as old as the love of life; as old as industry; as the idea of prosperity; as old as human love.

All of the Ten Commandments that are good were old; all that were new art foolish. If Jehovah had been civilized he would have left out the commandment about keeping the Sabbath, and in its place would have said: "Thou shalt not enslave thy fellow-men." He would have omitted the one about swearing, and said: "The man shall have but one wife, and the woman but one husband." He would have left out the one about graven images, and in its stead would have said: "Thou shalt not wage wars of extermination, and thou shalt not unsheathe the sword except in self-defence."

If Jehovah had been civilized, how much grander the Ten Commandments would have been.

The Saudi Arabian Mutaween are tasked with enforcing Sharia as defined by the government; purportedly the Committee for the Propagation of Virtue and the Prevention of Vice "comprises more than 3,500 officers plus thousands of volunteers...often accompanied by a police escort" who have the power to arrest unrelated males and females caught socializing, enforce Islamic dress-codes, prayer schedules, and Muslim dietary laws prohibiting the comsumption or sale of alcoholic beverages and pork, and seize banned consumer products and media regarded as "un-Islamic" (such as CDs/DVDs of various Western musical groups, television shows and film). Additionally, they actively prevent the practice or proselytizing of other religions within Saudi Arabia, where such is banned.

I am interested in finding out how far and for how long the story of the "mirror ghost" Bloody Mary has been being passed around purely by word of mouth. Here is how I heard it: If you go into a dark room and stand in front of the mirror and chant "Bloody Mary" 3 times a cloaked figure will appear and cross through the mirror to get you.

Please tell me 1) How the version of the story you heard is different (if it is) 2) Where you first heard the story (country and city) and from what source 3) Your gender (since I have never found a male that has heard this story) and 4) The approximate year that you first heard the story.

I am especially interested to hear from people outside of the U.S. and to see if this is a story passed exclusively among girls!

Anyway, to start I will say that I first heard the story in Tri-Cities, Washington state. I am female and first heard from some girls at a sleepover in about 1990.

It happens without fail; I am completely void of energy and am depressed the day after. I feel completely low. I cry uncontrollably. I feel like I have been the receptor for whatever negative energy he battles with, and I feel it trying to take me under and battle my soul. The first time, I thought it was me, because we were virgins; we were both 29, and I didn't know what to expect. We are 31 now and have only tried maybe two more times, and every single time, I have the same experience. He, on the other hand, always feels that a great weight has been lifted off his shoulder. I don't understand why this happens, but it brings me to my lowest point spiritually, physically and emotionally. I feel like something in him is trying to kill me. Is this odd?? Has anyone felt this?? I waited my entire life to be with the one that was meant for me. He walked into my life claiming to have been sent by God, but something feels so wrong when we are together like that.

I have had plenty, it's not funny.

When I was at mums’ place in Urunga, I was sitting on mums’ cane chair having my last cigarette before heading to bed. All of a sudden, I felt something playing with my hair. Something was pushing it side to side tapping it. I thought it was our kitten Tiny, well hoping anyway.

I slowly turned my head to the right to see if he was on that side. He wasn’t there. I slowly turned my head to the left but before I could get a chance to look behind the cane chair to see if Tiny was there, I saw my hair (which was in a pony-tail at the time) held up in mid-air by someone. Quicker than you could say the words ‘Bob’s your uncle’, I threw the smoke in the ash-tray and bolted to my bed, and slept with the light on all night. I told mum the next morning.

4. It's a "Trick or treat" style food gathering, everybody has to bring a bag of chips/candy, or some sort of treat, whats a good way to Halloween theme the snack table, with no specific plannign on how much food their will be?
