Capitalizing a proper name is the way we show respect. For the Big Boss, you just can't use lowercase. It makes a generic, the way a polytheist like me would do it. I can use the word "god" as a generic, because I know lots of them. A monotheist has to say "God" because there is only one, and He's in charge, and He wouldn't like it if you didn't have respect. That's why they even capitalize the pronouns.

"God" is capitalized only when referring to the Christian God (meaning the God most Americans generally think of God). When you are talking about, for example, the many gods of the Egyptians, you do not capitalize them, because they are generally regarded as simple traditions or false entities. Most people believe that one God exists, regardless of which religion is correct - so God is a proper noun.
So God is capitalized because He is commonly accepted to be a real entity, and so gramatically "God" is a proper noun. If you did not want to refer specifically to the Christian God, you would need to specify, for example "The god Raah...".
The pronouns for God are capitalized simply out of respect - There is not gramatical reason. Think about it, if a god created the universe He at least deserves the respect of having His pronouns capitalized.

This visual allure of the Son of God contained in the old testomony is usually a 'theophany' - there have been a number of cases even as God did look to adult men, till now the delivery of Jesus Christ in Bethlehem, e.g. to Abraham, Jacob, Joshua, Gideon. King Nebuchadnezzar's recognition of the 'fourth guy' as 'like unto the Son of God' develop into probable an "knowledgeable wager," because of 'the fourth guy's wonderful visual allure' (would properly be He develop into lined with a outstanding gentle (resembling the ingenious and prescient that John had in Revelation a million) and the undeniable actuality that He develop into no longer fed on through the fireplace of the furnace which develop into heated up 7 cases its widespread intensity - no widespread guy would have withstood that warmth! would properly be Nebuchadnezzar's recognition of the divine nature of the fourth guy.

Christians consider God a personal pronoun; as opposed to god or gods of others. He (capitalized) usually refers to Jesus or God, but not the Holy Spirit.

In some contexts it's capitalized, in some it's not. In Christianity, they capitalize it because it's his name.
In other religions, it's not capitalized because it isn't a name, it's a title, like you said.

If there's only one of something, you capitalize it. Especially if people might confuse it with something more generic. It happens a lot when things are named after what they are. I named my cat 'Cat', so obviously it was capitalized when I referred to it. So, as long as we know what you're talking about, you can refer to Door, Plate, or God freely, as opposed to any of many doors, plates, or gods.
