It seems that the computer has become a master brain far greater than mine, because it contains almost all the good and bad information concerning all aspects of human and natural activities. Nobody comes to me to seek for answers and entertainment, but more and more people come to the computer!
But the computer is sold for few thousand dollars, while my brain is priceless, why?
The computer is the product of man, my brain is the product of God. And the great difference is that the computer must receive any information uploaded by man, while my brain can decide to select, to ignore, to add, to accept or to reject any information inside as well as outside the computer. The computer is dead, my brain is living.

I am ready to welcome many interesting opinions of yours concerning this subject.

Post a question on evolution vs creationism or single religion education and see what I mean. Make sure the question is phrased in a way which isn't offensive, and youl still get irate fanatics complaining and answering with huge tracts of the bible (if you can call that an answer). Surely the idea of posting a question is to get other peoples views and provoke discussion, but some of these people take it as an insult because it's some sort of crime against THIER god, its not a crime against everybodies god and many of us don't have any god.
What is thier problem?

Matthew 10:33 (NKJV) "But whoever denies Me before men, him I will also deny before My Father who is in heaven.

Would you deny Christ to save your life or the lives of your children? If your answer is yes because it is only words, I ask what if you and/or your children were killed anyways?

Hello, my name is Colleen, and I am a college student in Kansas City, KS. I am doing a project about the role of food in Christianity for my religion class. I was wondering if you all could answer a few of my questions.

1- Do you believe that food plays an important role in your religion?

2- Is fasting practiced in your denomination? What is the significance?

3- Do you have any restraints of food? If so, where do these originate from?

4- Do you have congregational activities that involve food? (example: pancake dinners)

5- What is your name, city, and denomination?
Thank you for answering my questions.

When you die, do you think you will go to Heaven? What will you say to God when he asks, "why should I let you in?"

"Do not think that I came to bring peace on earth. I did not come to bring peace but a sword." It seems pretty straightforward to me.

I'm having a Halloween Party on the 27th, and I was wondering, what kinda stuff can we do to make it fun? WE're watching movies and we have a good sized(9x13 ft) basement area to play games in, as well as a fairly big back/front yard. Age range 14-16 about 16/17 people, only one couple coming.

I mean, Christianity and religion HELP people, give them the strength to go on. Make people happy. My step-grandma wouldn't have lasted as long as she did without God. Religion gives people strength and will (mind over matter), so why are there people out there going out of their way to take it away from them? Are they just bored? Or are they just sick minded? I want a SERIOUS answer. Thanks.

...then why not come to church and find out for yourself? There are friendly Christian congregations almost everywhere!

Church is about worshipping God, not judging other people. No one is perfect, but by God's awesome love and Jesus' resurrection, anyone can be forgiven and healed.

A church fellowship is also about building strong communities, connecting with neighbors, and making new friends. In addition to the usual Sunday-morning worship, most churches offer extra worship services, Bible-study groups, community service, volunteer opportunities, outreach programs and other activities throughout the week.

Won't you join us this Sunday?

If so, how is dialogue possible?

As imperfect humans, sometimes our pride gets in the way of accepting the "truth". Sometimes we may not like or want to accept the truth because it's inconvenient for us. Since God gave us free will, obviously so that our worship to him would be voluntary and from the heart, wouldn't that mean that we should serve God HIS way and not ours no matter how inconveniant we might think it is? Shouldn't we strive to serve God HIS and not pick and choose whatever religious beliefs suit our preference?

I believe that noone can prove to anyone that Jesus is the Son of God, no preacher or no book. For me when I asked God to show me the truth about Jesus, he did. That anyone of faith in Christ can do is spread the message. So ask that all you non-believers ask God to tell you, and let me know if He answered. take 10 minutes to ask God to prove it to you and tell me if you accept that proof, why and why not. Please don't respond unless you tried and really wanted to know. I'll be watching my email.
