The Bible and the Koran are guides, but don't make the mistake of idolizing them.
Use your senses and look about you, if faith doesn't come, you aren't paying attention. Only the blind need dogma as a guide.

You really need to read his book.
God is holy. God is spirit. God is holy spirit. But the only way for us to know that is through reveal knowledge: revelation. And where is this revelation: It is Word of God spoken through the prophets documented in the bible.
You pretend that Holy Spirit enlightenment comes to us from another source. That source is definitely not science. So where is this other source?
The source you wish to throw away is the very source that has all the information.

Who said that the Holy Spirit can only enlighten us with the Bible?
He can enlighten you and get you to desire the knowledge the Bible will give, and the desire to know Jesus, and Our Father. I know for me, the Holy Spirit filled me with the desire to know more of Jesus and the Fathers will for me.

If you have questions and want to learn you go to the author.
The Holy Spirit used man to write(pen) the completion of the bible both old and new.
If you simply want to read other writings not by God(Holy Spirit) than you infact DO NOT NEED HIM.
That is the difference.

She can. She did it for many centuries with various Catholic saints who did not have the Bible or even the ability to read in the Middle Ages.
