I think religion (no matter which one) will prevail as long as there is people with faith in the world. So which one will it last depends on the number and the strenght of the followers.

trying to eliminate it is just an illusion, see Russian Communist Empire failed, and the Roman Empire failed, Fascists didn't end it, Christianity endures even more
They thought they could eliminate it by crucifying Jesus,
he bounced right back and it was just the beginning, and endures even now. Prosperity enriches it, and hard times and oppression fosters it. There will always be people who can relate to his suffering and injustice, and willing to see the light and joy despite everything.

humans will learn the truth and in time they will be corrupted and misled...
and eventually people will forget what the truth was.
