...then why not come to church and find out for yourself? There are friendly Christian congregations almost everywhere!

Church is about worshipping God, not judging other people. No one is perfect, but by God's awesome love and Jesus' resurrection, anyone can be forgiven and healed.

A church fellowship is also about building strong communities, connecting with neighbors, and making new friends. In addition to the usual Sunday-morning worship, most churches offer extra worship services, Bible-study groups, community service, volunteer opportunities, outreach programs and other activities throughout the week.

Won't you join us this Sunday?

Well that's just silly. If churches told the truth about Christianity they would be empty.

First they create a problem: "Humanity's existence offends an undetectable deity who is angry because of a mistake made by the first human, which BTW he made, and you are being held accountable for that human's mistake. Yeah that sounds dumb and unjust, but we know it's true because we have a book wherein this undetectable deity has revealed his obtuse will. We know it's his will because the book says it is (Does that seem gullible to you?)."

Then they add the motivation of fear: "Because he's stilled pissed over the first human eating a piece of fruit, this undetectable deity, who BTW we hold forth as the very representation of love, will wait until all humans are dead, then bring them back to life, make them immortal, and then throw them into a lake of fire for eternity, where they will burn in agony forever without hope of surcease or mercy.

Then they offer the solution: "Okay, only the insane would call that lake of fire thing the act of a god of love, but he's all powerful and can do anything he wants to anybody for any reason or none, but like most sadistic despots he does respond to flattery. So if you grovel and beg him to save you, and flatter a child he had out of wedlock with the fiance of a human male about 2000 years ago (for this god is no respecter of engagements), he won't burn you forever, but you will have to flatter him unceasingly for eternity. BTW, just to show you how much you should be afraid of this god, he arranged for his own kid to be beaten and crucified to satisfy his blood lust, which other wise he would take out on us. Maybe flattering a sweetheart like that for eternity doesn't seem like a great deal, but it's that or the fire. So join us this Sunday for god-flattering, coffee and a donut!"

The best part about church is the singing. One claims that they do not judge, but every sermon I have heard has been full of judgements. How does one learn that they are "doing wrong" if they are not making a judgement?

Then, there is the worship part. If your God is so wonderful, then why would he need you to worship him? God sounds like an immature celebrity like Paris Hilton.

I don't believe, that simple, I used to be Christian and left, not because it was judgemental, but because it didn't make sense. Honestly, am I supposed to believe that a man was resurrected 3 days after his death, why don't I just live in a fantasy world.

I had joined people in church the majority of my life. These people were hypocrites, and showed me the true light, that there is no god.

Don't assume that all non-christians know nothing of your faith.

No thanks, God prefers that I worship him on my own and not listen to an old man who claims to be closer to God then the rest of us.
