What does it mean to"rebel" if you have free choice? To rebel against someone who has power over you means you have no free will.

All people in whatever condition have free will as long as they are prepared to accept the consequences of their actions. Something people in the U.S. have forgotten how to do.

Freedom is burden and a responsibility. You are not free until you show signs of responsibility for your actions. That is why the government says you must be 18 before you can vote or perform some social responsibilities.

When you demand for freedom at the wrong time, because, you want to exercise your freewill, you may find yourself where people like that end up.....Jail, hospitals, mutuary and ultimately hell fire.

Remain under cover. Obey God's laws and Government laws, and you will live and fulfill your destiny.

Mostly because of sin. If you made a living creation of your own and gave it free will, wouldn't you punish it for doing wrong? I know I would.

How did sin get into the world, you ask? Leave an apple outside for a while and see what happens. When God gave us free will, we did the second of two options: Good and Bad. That's how sin began. Anyway I hope that answered any further questions you have.

There are consequences for our choices. We are free to choose our course, and by doing this, we choose the consequences. This is true not only in spiritual things, but here on earth. (If you choose to further your education, you will make more money in your job, etc.)

Just because there are consequences, this does not mean our chouce is not our own to make. Some choose immediate sinful pleasure dispite the eternal result. Some do not recognize there is an eternal result.

God calls for people to choose whom they will serve. (Josh. 24:15) God does not want anyone to perish, but He wants "all men everywhere to repent". (2 Peter 3:9) Even though this is God's desire, all men will not repent and many will perish. God gave us this choice. (Luke 13:3)

God wants us to serve him out of love and respect for him, not because that is what we are forced to do. God did not create mere puppets.

Yes you have free will because YOU still decide whether you will do something or not. To every action there is a reaction or consequence. God rewards good, punishes bad. That's how He teaches you that good is better, but the free agency is still yours.

Free will doesn't exist outside of God and His Law. God is the inventor of free will not man. Your idea that God is unjust for requiring us to serve him is an unjust idea. If God didn't exist you would be justified in your ideas. God does exist however as you know and He requires us all to choose this day if we will serve him as sons or rebel against him and not be His children.

It reminds me of a scene from "Nuns On The Run" where a Jewish guy and a Catholic guy are hiding from the mob and the police, masquerading as nuns. The Catholic guy is trying to explain the Holy Trinity to the Jewish guy, but the Jewish guy finally says "But it doesn't make any sense!!" To which the Catholic guy responds, "Well if it made any sense we wouldn't have to accept it on faith, would we?" So there you have it. You accept nonsense on faith.

Anyone who goes to church doesn't have free will... plain and simple. They are controlled by the church, told what is right or wrong, how to act, how not to act...

It is the ones who go against them that have free will.

I agree with you a 100% , either we have free will and a benevolent GOD cannot judge us for being who we are, or GOD gave us no free will and is a despot who frigtens us with HELL.

We punish ourselves because when we stray from God's will for us, we have bad consequences that ultimately hurt us.
He only wants what is BEST! Free will to mess up, yup.
