Why is it that when someone asks if you know someone else (say, John Brown), and you tell them that you don't know a John Brown, the person you are talking with starts throwing out all these details about John Brown, hoping that you will magically realize that you've known John Brown all along? If I don't know someone, I know that I don't know them. I don't need you giving me all these extemporaneous details that don't help me because I DON'T KNOW JOHN BROWN!

*sigh* I feel better now. :-)

My gf and I were playing cards and I lost a bet
She said I have to dress up like a girl for Halloween
So she said we should get on Yahoo! Answers and ask the good people what she should make me wear
She said it should be girly and dirty and that she will pick the answer she likes the most and wants links,pictures, and details

If he already knew from the begining ....what out destiny was....If he knows every move we will ever make....why does he need a book to remember our goods and bads....not a joking question...i only heard about the book once or twice...but the Pastor had to leave directly after service....so I couldn't get an explanation....thx everyone for your answers...

Jesus said, "The words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself but the father that dwelleth in me, He doeth the work..."

Who does the work? God himself.

The word, "Dwelleth" or "Dwelt" is not manifestations. Manifestations means, Act of being manifesting or state of being manifested.

"Dwelleth" or "Dwelt" means, to live, Inherent or existing in someone or something as permanent and inseparable quality or attribute.

Conclusion, God "reside" in His Son, Jesus Christ.

Are people who are less intelligent less worthy of good things because they are less intelligent? What about beautiful people? Do they really deserve the money from their modeling jobs? If one knows they are less intelligent or less beautiful than the average person, does it depress them?

I am not desperately trying to find any resource to prove homosexuality in the Bible. The reason why I chose this homosexual site is because I learned about it from CNN.COM before, and I once saw more than 10,000 posts on their message board, for which most of the ones I read were supportive of the site. So homosexuality is a controversial topic that most Western Christians seem (from my personal experience only) to support.

That just don't make no sense, You have to have faith to believe in God. Why can't God just reveal himself to us. So I know when I die I am either going to heaven and hell.

Why do christians use Pascal's Wager?
Pascal's Wager is;

Suppose you are right. Suppose there is no God. Then when I die as a believer, I have lost nothing. I just die, as a man that devoted his life to love and morals. But if you, as a non-believer, are wrong and I am right, you have to spend an eternity in hell. See, I have nothing to lose, but you have everything to lose.

The problem with this line of reasoning is that there are thousands of gods that humans have imagined. A person who believes in Allah can make this statement, and so can a person who believes in God, and so can a person who believes in Vishnu. This multitude of fictional beings shows the silliness of the argument. There is no way to know which god to choose, because there is no evidence whatsoever indicating that any of them exist.

I was thinking about Olga DartBoards, Olga Posters like the ones at the target range, Olga T-shirts with the red circle and the line through it. How about Olga Halloween decorations? I think having an Olga around the house would be enough to scare the trick or treaters and make them laugh. What do you think? An Olga Skull and Cross Bones would be a great addition, I think. An Olga Witch for your kitchen, though that might make your family lose their appetite, sorry.

Kerilynn pointed out to me in her answer to my last question that her son is in Iraq, alongside countless other brave men and women, fighting for a cause they believe in.

My apologies to Kerilynn and any other person whom I may have offended by my oversight. I pointed out one example of heroism, and neglected to honor those who put their own lives at stake to protect our freedoms.

My thanks to the servicemen and women, and to the bravery displayed by their families. May your loved ones return home to you safely.

Meaning...now there are easier ways to get things done...ie..e-mail....IM...fax...phones just to name a few. The new and ways of useing tecknology has made the human mind not think as much. People spend so much time in front of television tubes...and playing and surfing the net, that family time along with good moderate exersice has all eroded away. There is human tragidies that are faced everyday from the internet, childpornography,adult sites,violence ,weapons all for sale at the click of a mouse.The new and advanced weapons...along with chemicals that could wipe out the human race all together. I know some technology is best ..when it comes to curing and treating illness we suffer from. Now adays children don't read anymore...they surf the net and find the answers to what they need on a single page...not knowing why and how that answer came about. The Gov...being able to watch my families every move....threw that "Land of The Free" right out the window.
