They had a lot of giant wings at the Halloween store yesterday. Wearing giant wings would be so cool for almost any costume. Bat wings, angel wings, devil wings. You could be a demon, angel... Anything is scarier and more fun with giant wings! Zombie with skeleton wings! Ghost with angel wings!

The best costumes are the really creative ones... Try being something "real" like a nurse (WalMart has uniforms for about $15), a chef (all you need is an apron & hat), an Olympic gold medal winner (sew the Olympics logo onto a sporty sweater & make a "medal", an accountant (a business suit & briefcase), or even a crossing guard (buy a glowing safety vest from WalMart & make a stop sign)... The possibilities are endless, and by being something more ordinary you will actually stand out from the crowds -- also I doubt any 10 yr olds will have similar costumes! Have fun!!

I remember when I was 12 I dressed up as a supply teacher and all of my friends thought it was hilarious. Get maybe one of your mom's skirts from a while ago and where it high up around your waist and where a wacky turtle neck or something. I got an old giant pair of glasses and put on some really bright red lipstick. I also got a name tag. You can find most of the stuff around your house and it looks really funny-I guarantee many people will tell you how great your costume is! Good luck finding a costume.
