Me( hispanic american who is shy/quiet and doesn't have good speaking skills) vs All the talktative/outgoing americans in college.
When i go visit my old college i feel like a total failure compared to all the ones i see there . Also when i go walking downtown,,,, nobody is like me.. everyone has outgoing social lives. How can i feel any good if there is nothing positive about me in terms of success.. all these talkatives I bet you get jobs easily and me... i'm unemployed and can't even get a simple clerical job even after trying for months. I'm 26 male thanks

homophobic:
one definition - lacking insight and empathy into Gay/homosexual/bisexual issues.
two definition - unreasonable fear and/or hatred of Gays/etc.

Does anyone know if this is true? I'm moving there next year and someone recently mentioned this little tidbit of info. I Googled "Missouri serial killers" and it doesn't really seem as if they have any more/less than anywhere else. If someone is a good person (whatever that means) but just doesn't believe in God or, perhaps, doesn't believe in the "right" God then do you think it makes sense that God we be so petty and childish as to condemn that person? Where is the wisdom in that? Where is the charity?

Most of all where is the forgiveness?

I was riding my bicycle, and no one else was around. It was a beautiful fall day. The dove landed on a fence right in front of me (to the left). No other birds were on the fence. Then, the black bird landed about 3 feet away from the dove, on the same fence - facing the opposite direction! There's got to be some significance to it. Anyone...?

Suppose you were the intelligent creator of all living things, including humans. What would you do differently to the way we are now? My choices would be things like:

The acute vision of an eagle.
The sense of smell of a dog.
Echo-location like bats and dolphins (for finding
our way around in the dark).
Immunity to disease.
No congenital or acquired medical conditions.
Gills, so we couldn't drown.
Ability to make our own vitamin C
Ability to hibernate.
Much less pain, damage and trauma in women giving birth.
Homing ability like pigeons.

... and so on. If we're really intelligently designed then the designer must have been a novice.

I posted this question before and got some good answers. But I need to clear up some things. First of all, my husband did not give the A as his department head asked him to do. And, yes this was made a race issue when the girl complained that my husband was racist when he would not regrade her paper right there and then. He had threee other classes right after that one. He said he would reread it on Thursday, this was Tuesday. She got 17 wrong out of 20 questions, and her oral presentation was all wrong. She did not even do her report on the issue she was given. Department head said just give her the A because we do not need to have every black in the school screaming racisim!!!! This happens all the time. None of his white students in all of his 26 years have ever co mplained of a bad grade because of their color. And lots of times blacks get better grades than whites evern when they are not deserved. Please give some intelligent answers.

I met a woman and we went back to my place. She said I had to use a condom because we were each having sex with everybody that each of us had slept with. Being a joker asked her if she was bisexual. She said, "no, I only like men." I replied, "well then, if I am having sex with everyone you had sex with, wouldn't that make me gay?" I thought this was pretty quick and funny. She didn't see the humour in the question. She got dressed and left.
Question: Why are people so uptight and serious when it comes to humour concerning sex?
I know there will be lots of smartass comments and it's OK because I like a good laugh but I would appreciate some serious insight as to what exactely I did wrong.
