So I was at the gas station. I went in the station and told the clerk I wanted to put $20 on "the silver mustang" I pointed to my car which was the only one actually at a pump. When I tried to pump my gas it wouldn't work so I went back in to see what was going on. The clerk said "pump 7?" and I said "no, the silver mustang" Well in the mean time a lady started pumping gas on pump 7 and he said to me "you'd better get out there, she's pumping your gas" And I said back to him "Thats not my gas! You need to get out there an take care of this!" He tried to tell me that I was the one that needed to talk to her. At that time another employee jumped in and said he would take care of it. Without that other employee I could tell there would have been big problems. Who was in the wrong?

In sexual education, sexology and medicine, they all agree that it all starts with lust. Yet Christians attack lust as if it were a disease. If you can't have lust, then you can't go any further. Simple. That's what it is to be human. Why do some avoid it like the plague and condemn those who enjoy sex without having to be married?

Why is Friday 13th meant to be so bad ? What is the history behind it, why do so many ppl stay home and refuse to leave the house ? It doesnt bother me in the slightest but i know of a few ppl that just worry all day long...... strange or what ???

I wanted to take Modern Standard Arabic ( I can read and write arabic fluently but do understand it, speech wise I can speak colloquial) . My boss wants me to get a certificate for this because she is paying and we need Standard because we are dealing with Arabic news

Does anyone knows an online Arabic programme that gives out Diploma in Arabic or Cert ONLINE? or distant learning?

Its a shame Open university of UK do not have it

At my school, in order to have your own dorm room, you have to pay $500. I didn't pay it, so I got a roommate. About a month later, he moved out and moved in with his friend, and now the school is telling me I have to pay $500.

I don't think I should have to pay it because I NEVER asked for my own room and it's not my repsonsibility to find a roommate if I never asked the first one to move out. He just left one day to live with his friend. I didn't even know he had left until I came into the room one night.

Now I've tried to find people, but everybody I find either has a roommate or they paid for their own room. But I don't think I should even have to look for a roommate since I never wanted my own room in the first place.

Any suggestions on how I should handle this?

i would like to move to another state but just not sure which would be the best kinda wanted to get different opinions..i would like to be somewhere where the housing is fairly priced. i am a family of 5 and looking for a good school district. in south florida the housing here is outrageously priced you dont get alot of house for the money.i prefer not to be out in the country. i do like the change of seasons weather is not to big of an issue. and somewhere where the homeowners insurance is normally priced not 4,000 a year and taxes are not 5,000 a year. i can laterally move with the work position i am but jobs are good to know about...i think i may have covered it all..thanks for all your opinions thanks..

This is mostly for older people... let's say over 30... but anybody can answer if they want to!!

Remember when you were little (especially if you are a lady) and you used to skip all the time? (Where you hop on one foot then hop on the other foot... all smooth and rhythmically.)

It was almost time to go home from the office today, and we got to talking about that, showing "how it is done"-- and some of us seem to have lost the ability to skip!!

Who knew that was a skill a person could lose or "unlearn"..?? I was shocked!

So-- when you answer, if you'd like to give your age group (20's, 30's, 40's, 50's, 60's, etc) that would be interesting, too.

why is it ok for heavy people to say "Oh my god your so skinny" or for someone to casually say "youve put on weight" when you weigh 112 pounds. Now, why cant we tell someone whos bigger "man your fat!!!" or "are you STILL gaining weight?" Please someone tell me why is it ok one way but taboo the other way???

I've always known it to be impolite, just wondering the reason besides bad manners to wear a cap. My nephew (12 yrs old), had a cap on, my dad took it off his head. I was a little surprised my sister didn't ask her son to take it off, I would've asked my son to do so. Is it out of respect to the resaurant owner and those around you?
