Does anyone know if this is true? I'm moving there next year and someone recently mentioned this little tidbit of info. I Googled "Missouri serial killers" and it doesn't really seem as if they have any more/less than anywhere else. Are there any Missourians or serial killer buffs out there who know the answer to this one? Thank ya!

Katherine S: I'm moving to southern Missouri. It's actually pretty darn beautiful. I had a hunch that this info was just another negative pot-shot type of comment. Everybody's a critic! lol. The funny thing is most of 'em have never even been there, lol.

Dfirefox: It's not an obsession sweetheart. It's a matter of who's right/who's wrong. I challenged the person who told me this info with " Nuh-uh" then she said "Uh-huh"... and it was on. And I believe self-fulfilling prophecies are exactly that.... you fulfill them yourself. I don't think that asking this question is going to result in me getting murdered by a serial killer honey.... chill.

I have lived in Missouri all of my life until this past January when my husband and I moved to Kansas due to the fact he is in the army and was stationed here.

Um... I am not sure about a large number of serial killers/murderers there. It all depends on the part of Missouri you are going to. St.Louis, is really bad on crimes. I havent been anywhere else. St.Charles is a really nice city.

You dont have anything to worry about. Missouri is not as bad as some other states are.

I have lived in Missouri since 1976.

I started out near Warsaw ( look it up on a map ) and in 1980 moved to Kansas City where I live now.

I've not heard of but a very small handful of these types of crimes in the 30 years I've lived in this state....and those were in small town, rural areas...of ALL places!!! Go figure!

Tell your 'friend': "Don't worry about it. This is one of the SAFER states to live in especially around Springfield! It would be a good idea for you to lose the "chicken little syndrome". Paranoia WILL destroy ya!!!"

However, since my mother forced me to move here with my family from FLORIDA!!!....I do 'affectionately' call it the State of Misery... Basically because it's kind of a boring state to live in. LOL!!!!!

i think of it quite is a super concept, and state's could desire to have the final to do what they opt for. it quite is sickening how the federal government violates state's and guy or woman's rights every time they sense like it. as some distance because of the fact the tax cuts being in basic terms momentary, if human beings have greater funds to spend, and make investments, and the financial gadget prospers because of the fact of it, there will be no choose for the added gross sales by utilising reinstating the taxes, human beings would be making greater funds and paying greater taxes. it quite is how sound economics works, not this junk Obama calls stimulus.

You might have to do them indivuality. But Timothy McVay was from Arizona and he probably killed the most.
