He was a loving father of two young children, has a wonderful wife, and was very active in the community. Now, I found out that the members of Westboro Babtist Church are planning to be there to Mock and protest his funeral!!!! This was an honorable man and decorated American hero and his family deserves the right to pay their last "RESPECTS"

Is there anything I can do? Is there anything that our community can do? What would you do if this was your close friend/family member?

I know that these people are not true Christians and give the Christians as a whole a bad name. They are nothing more than a "We hate everyone and everything organization"

Christians have a hard time justifying their decisions to create children.

They can't promise these children Heaven. They can't explain why they aren't being arrogant in having children. They can't even refute the charge that they are being selfish for choosing to create souls who may very well end up in Hell. They can't explain why more souls choose to be born to non-Christians than to Christians.

They can't even find scripture to tell them whether a soul has a choice to be born or whether they are forcing souls into this world by the act of conception.

So why are Christians so touchy about this subject?

Of course this is just fiction, but if anyone read "1984", this could be imagined as some form of control: People thinking that they are exchanging views and advice and suddenly it can be traced back and you are in the sh*t because you e.g. talk against Muslims or against the government, etc.
Do you think it is possible that someone might exploit it to trace individuals back?

This is pretty straighforward, although I'm issuing a challenge with this. Whoever is the first to get all of these correct will receive best answer. Christians, if there are any I've forgotten, please let me know, and I will post them either on this question, or another.
Everyone else, I encourage you to do this for your religion (or lack thereof, if you're an atheist.), that's my challenge.
This is on Christians. The next part will be on Christianity.
SO, true or false?
1. Christians hate science.
2. Christians love homosexuals, but disagree with the lifestyle.
3. Christians are not allowed to question their beliefs.
4. All Christians attend church.
5. All Christians are uneducated.
6. Many scientists have been theists, or Christians.
7. All Christians are hypocrites.
8. Some Christians believe in evolution.
9. Christians are racist.
10. All Christians only listen to Christian music.

I am doing an ad for stationery at a reduced price, it says 'You'll save a bundle' meaning you will spend at lot less here than anywhere else. Is this clearly understood as saving money in Scotland or could you suggest a more local term i.e. save a fortune, save a lot etc. thanks

I occasionally read the Qur'an for more knowledge but I noticed that the explanations at the bottom of every page are longer than the main text. I can only say about the english version as i don't read arabic and i noticed an english version that is very hard to understand. I would have wanted a Qur'an all by itself and leave the readers something to meditate or think about. I think that all muslims just believe every explanation without any question.

Some people Believe in evolution and claim that man is Africa. Other believe in the Bible and the Koran and believe that man is from the Middle East. Who's right and why do you think so. And if not either of those places, where do you think man came from?

As an Atheist, I usually get a lot of commentaries about not ragging of other religions, but this time it is different. I wonder why a lot of my fellow Atheists are "okay" with Buddhism or follow it themselves? Did you know that they teach reincarnation? What evidence is there for that? Did you know the original teachings of the Buddha said that homosexuals would come back to earth as some siamese monster thing because homosexuality was evil? I realize the new Dahli Lama has now accepted gays, but why be okay with a religion that is hypocritical on its beliefs because of political correctness? At least the Christians have the balls to stand up for their homophobia (though I personally find that belief wrong). So why are some of my fellow Atheists okay with it?

If you have not sent any souls to Heaven, what makes you think you can create and nurture a soul that will achieve Heaven?

Or do you care whether the soul you create achieves Heaven or ends up in Hell?

How selfish is it to create a soul that ends up in Hell? How arrogant to presume you can raise a soul to achieve Heaven when you have yet to demonstrate your ability to enter the Kingdom?

Despite the affirmation of the author of the Gospel according Luke regarding the fact that he hasn’t been witness to the events and therefore not even disciple, many people believe nowadays that the four evangelists: Matthew, Mark, Luke and John correspond to the four disciples of Jesus. So, do you believe the same thing, that is, the fact that the four evangelists have been among the twelve disciples of Jesus? Here I am quoting the passage in which Luke, the evangelist, affirms not to have been witness to the facts:
Luke 1:1 Inasmuch as many have undertaken to compile a narrative of the things that have been accomplished among us, 2just as those who from the beginning were eyewitnesses and ministers of the word have delivered them to us, 3it seemed good to me also, having followed all things closely for some time past, to write an orderly account for you, most excellent Theophilus, 4that you may have certainty concerning the things you have been taught. - English Standard Version
