I think at one point blonds became so popular that everyone wanted to become blond. so it turned out that personality and intelligence didn't matter as long as they were Blond. So it isn't that blonds are dumb, but that many dumb people want to be blond.

Presumably the Blondes themselves may think they are dumb - but they are not, They are all wonderful women,- the majority of whom will one day be " MUMS ". God Bless them all.
I really do think all females,- whatever their looks or abilities, are lovely and that they should always be treated with well deserved respect. .

there was a 10 year experiment where they gave blonds tasks where they had to fulfil simple tasks without giggling or throwing themselves at the nearest rich man that passed
.........unfortunately they all failed the tasks .................so it was deemed that scientifically speaking blonds are dumb.
The myth is that they have more fun which was proved to be wrong in the trials of 1987

I believe it goes back to when movies were first made, the producers always made the blonds dumb, fragile, innocent little creatures, always being taken advantage of, murdered & so on.
But who really knows?

I'm sure it's to do with artificially dying hair blond. What kind of people (on average) are more likely to do that? And what kind of people are less concerned about their hair colour?
