Natural selection is true within the limits it operates. The issue is.....

Logically, you cannot select unless you have something to select. This beginning point for natural selection assumes a lot of biology is in place, right?

How did that happen? Biological affinity is not panning out. Is there another theory?

This Q? is in the RS section, since the answer affects my reason and faith based belief in a creator.

If we know, great. If these answers are not know, then I have a choice where I put my faith, either in a cold and materialistic universe, or in a purposefully created universe.

Yeah sounds like a stupid question these days, but I come from a hardcore WASP background. There seems to exist an unwritten old skool rule that men are required to work no matter what, whereas with women it is more of a choice. Does society look down on men who stay home to take care of the household? Do their wives lose respect for them?

I have asked many questions about religion,not just in this forum and have established the following
FACT No-one knows for sure who wrote the bible
FACT No-one knows for sure when it was written
FACT It is known that certain gospels or scriptures were not included.Why?If they are all the word of God,shouldn't they all be there.
FACT No-one knows when Jesus was born.
FACT No-one knows when he died.Without absolute belief in Jesus the whole religion is defunct.Yet there is very little known about him(if he existed)
FACT The bible is full of contradictions
There are many more reasons.But what I really want to know is why so-called intelligent people continue to believe this cr@p

So a girl comes to my school to talk about her magazine 'Black Girl'. The entire school has to attend. She speaks of the success of her magazine and how she is getting star interviews with multiple famous black stars.

Well, being white, I don't feel very included. So I ask her if she'd mind if I made a 'White Girl' magazine. Her answer was 'No, I just don't think that black culture is represented in media today'.

This girl was obviously not a dumb ****. This was a very good answer. But was it true? Would her magazine have the success that it did if nobody gave a **** about black culture. And how did she get interviews from 'black stars' if black culture was not represented in the media today? Personally I believe that her magazine inspired racism and segregation. Something that my school was already suffering from enough of.

Any feedback, wether agreeing or disagreeing, would be welcome. I am very intolerant of racism on both sides and want to be aware of my own prejudices.

I am told that I should dress like British person to fit in..
But I don't know what the British uniform is...


Should I wear trousers or jeans? Should I wear a long skirt or are minis in this season?
Should I wear a getto look with low slung jeans or dress like a chave in barberry? Should I wear a flece or a hoody, or a waxen jacket? Should I dress smart in a shirt and tie??
Should I dress like a punk and dye my hair grean and get peirced all over?
Or should I be a goth and dress in black with white make up...?
Or maybe PVC fetish gear would be better??

I could wear Brittish national custom but I don't see too many places selling Beef Eater gear..

At whatever costs should I avoid ethnic clothes..except when ethnic boho chic is in? And what is I wear one of those retro Braselian football t shirts.,
Would that mean I am dressing foreign, and should be avoided too???

I work at a foster care agency .. which is already depressing enough.. but My cubicle is next to this guy who is a social worker and is constantly complaining .. he is so negative and he has a smart remark for everything . he is constantly looking over my shoulder and talking crap about our boss because she is mean to him this guy is like 45 yrs old what can I do to try and keep a positive outlook during the day .. his negativity is draining I feel so much better when he is not here.

I just watched last night a wonderful show about the civil rights movement for the freedom of blacks back in the 60's. I look at the young blacks of today and ask myself. Would Martian Luther king jr. be proud of the generation of today? When I see successful blacks it makes me happy for all they accomplished, (except when the success degrades woman such as many singers do) but then I have noticed that there are more bad directional black people than successful ones. That’s sad. Its like the none violent ways of civil rights movement was turned into a joke by young black people and that what makes me sad to see, especially the ones in gang's, prisons, living on welfare, and drug dealers, which has been proven to majority black which is also sad as well. I’m an American who look's white by color, but I am a Heinz 57 (a woman of many nationalities) i praise those who fought for the civil rights, I just wish more and more black people would honor that movement and stop the violence.
