Luggerbugs, good luck to ya. Just ignore the idiots.

PS Glad to see the Christians are still being kind and considerate. Personally, if Heaven is full of Bible-quoting fools like Larry S, it would feel like Hell to me. So hey, I can't win either way, but I think I'll take my chances downstairs.

They always have been and they always will be (here). They can't help their preferences any more than the 'normal' community. They are what they are, and, if you believe in a God then they are the way God made them. Perhaps a better question would be "Why are they here?" Only God knows, but I don't believe there can be any 'sin' between two consenting, loving adults. Those individuals who use words such as 'dirty' and 'sinful' with regards to them should consider how they would feel if the shoe were on the other foot. That is, if homosexuality were the norm and they themselves were the ones being reviled for preferring different sex partners, would they be so eager to advocate conformity to the 'norm'? If only we could live and let live then the world would be a much kinder (and less sinful) place.

Yes, they are here to stay, In fact homosexuality is not new. Yes, the questions is unnecessary, because like i said, homosexuality has been around probably as long as heterosexuality. Homosexuals are frowned upon for the same reason as everything Else. Mainstream society hates anything that deviates from the norm. and the only way to deal with something you don't understand is to make it bad, by saying people who do this are wrong. Its all BS, don't feed into it.

Why are homosexuals frowned upon by the "normal" community?
Are we just a tad hobophobic. No mention of the word "gay" !
Well, I cannot speak for ALL my people, but I SUSPECT that a lot of frowning may be getting confused with WORRY that many of your so called "normal" community may be in denial, or even straying over from time to time into the "homosexual, not normal" community!!

I feel that this question is simply down to ignorance.

I am straight, but a parent of a HOMOSEXUAL, as you put it. You are actually referring to someones, brother, son, sister, daughter, mother, father etc., These are people. Many of whom work in the "Community" and do a darned good job to!

But you can see, there is more to a person then just their sexuality surely, but if you want to be generalising about it, I have never never met one I did not like, e even before my child was born. So maybe you need to get to know PEOPLE, of different races and persuasions, and perhaps your view may broaden.

I can think of some terrible creatures in this world far far worse in the world, then one human being loving another human being of the same sex.

Homosexuality has been in existence all throughout human history. Its not going anywhere. It is "frowned upon" because there are a lot of narrow-minded people in the world that don't want to accept anyone that is different from themselves.

Your question would be better stated as "Why are homosexuals frowned upon by SOME OTHER SECTIONS of the normal community".

Being is gay is normal.

the answer to all three questions is....
Homosexuals have been around for thousands of years and will be around thousands more. People frown upon us because they don't understand...government doesn't help by making it an issue either.

I don't have any comment on your question but homosexuals are belong to minority groups as a result they are suffered by the normal community in your term(majority). This is happening around the world.
