actually its a matter of sympathy. You see Cher dresses and acts in bad taste. Transvestites are addicted to poor taste and therefore to Cher!

You mean Drag Queens, not transvestites, because by that you are stereotyping transvestites.
Drag Queens on the other hand do not all impersonate Cher, but I think you may have a point with Cher impersonating Drag Queens!

There are alot of Drag Queens who impersonate Cher...Which is understandable, because she likes shiny beads and sequins; much like alot of Drag Queens do. Plus she has a deep voice when she speaks and sings-Dolly Parton, Celine Dion and Madonna don't have that.

lolololol, so is life imitating art or does art imitate life? if you're going to emulate someone why not go for perfection. cher has created herself, by reshaping her body and style, into an unforgettable icon for the ages. she IS as close to a drag queen as a woman can get and she's fabulous!!!

good question, I think is both ways, but Cher inspired all of them thanks to her 30 yrs careers (geez!, she doesn't even get old??)
