If you are raised by 100% Muslim, you're not just going to be Christian out of nowhere. To expect that is unreasonable, I mean why doesn't God give everyone that chance to be rised by the Bible? And if those people are innocent b/c of their ignorance, wouldn't ignorance save us all?

So in Language Arts we talked about Nature and Nurture.
Nature is the belief that all humans have the peronality they
were born with and nurture as in they ae raised to be a certain way. For example I am nurtured to think that criminals should be
wiped out of existance because they ruin society. It maybe I felt this way from birth ( I have) or maybe because I watch forensic files a lot.

The way I understand it, billions and billions of years ago, all the matter in the universe was compressed into the space of a very, very heavy dot. This dot was spinnig clockwise at an incredibly high speed, when it exploded in the big bang, send all the matter out in space to form all the galaxies, stars planets, etc. What I'm confused about is something called the Law of Angular Momentum. What that law says is that when the big bang occured during the spinning of this dot sized super compressed matter, everything that formed should have continued spinning in a clockwise direction. But there is two planets that are spinning counter-clockwise, as well as six moons. Does anyone know how this is possible. It's in direct violation of the Law of Angular Momentum.

I have a theory. I think God made the objects spin backwards just to show how stupid the theory of the big bang is. Does anyone have any other logical explaination?

My Christian brothers, Christ himself said that we are the light of the world (Matther 5:14-16)

With that I call upon the righteous to unite. As a force of the righteous, an Army of God, we fight for the Kingdom of Heaven, beneath the banner of God and for his glory

Many false Christians will tell Jesus wanted peace and love thy neighbor, and some will say that Muslims worship the same God as we do

1. Christ did want peace and he did say love thy neighbor, But when asked of the most important commandment he said it was to honor God (Matthew 22:37-38)

2. To Honor God, you must live by his will
(Exodus 23:24)- Do not worship the gods of these pagan nations or serve them in any way, and never follow their example. INSTEAD, YOU MUST UTTERLY CONQUER THEM AND BREAK DOWN THEIR SHAMEFUL IDOLS

I dont care if you Catholic or Protestant, Baptist or Pentocostal, as a Christian you know that Christ has died for you, and even if that is the only thing we have in common that is enough

I was talking with a gay co-worker and I saw the heading 'If there was a pill that would turn you straight, would you take it' on what he was reading on his PC. So I asked him whether he would take such a pill, and he laughed and said that would be like exchanging a ferrari for a bicycle. I wanted to ask him why, but we were interrupted by someone else and he closed what he'd been watching. I didn't pursue the question later.

I mean it's ok to be gay since that's how you're born, but wouldn't being straight be better? ( sorry if sounds offensive )

They after all bring nothing but division, hatred, bigotry etc. They fill the heads of little children with tales of false history that they have to carry around for the rest of their lives that only keep them from seeking true knowledge,as it may contradict their dogma. Religious teaching has held man back so many time in the sciences it frightens me how much we have lost, and how much further we could have gone by now. Think of for example stem cell research which has the potential of curing millions but which will probably take 20 extra years to bear fruit due to the rumbling of a minority of the population. Millions die for words written on paper by superstitious fools 2000 years ago. How that is just escapes me I'm sorry to say,and why do our leaders listen to people whos lives are clearly not based in reality, when making these decisions.

Earlier this evening, I posted a question inspired by this previous question...

http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=ArcmH3YOUtG8lk9FpTRugxXsy6IX?qid=20061010191353AAs3QGT

I have been told by many of my Muslim brothers and Sisters in God that they respect Jesus as much as Mohammad. They rightfully point out that offensive comments towards one's faith can be upsetting, and cause one to react negatively...even violently.

Slayer's new album doesn't offend me at all. It disturbs me, but so do horror films like Texas Chain Saw Massacre. They can bash Jesus as much as they want. It's their right to express their "talent" and "artistry".

I'm just wondering... what is the Muslim perspective on this blatantly offensive and controversial marketing gimmic?

P.S. There's a track on the same album called "Jihad" which depicts the 9/11 attacks through the eyes of a terrorist.

Peace
