Are you kidding? If you have to ask, nothing I can tell you would help. But it really does a disservice to the many people that have dedicated their lives with hard work and study to build upon knowledge that brings you such quaint little items as your TV set, computer, and cell phone. These people were anything but stupid.

To the human mind it is easier to understand. If you have a question, the easy answer is God did it. Religions are based on old books written in metaphors. Creationists simply follow this line of thinking and don't pay attention to the science, since they already have their answer: God did it. Scientifically, Creationism isn't even in the debate, because there is no science to support it. So scientifically (meaning observation, studies, evidence, etc) evolution is the only plausible theory so far.

Creationism is more plausible because the other option is that dirt came together in space, and "poof", a live cell was created, and the dirt and the cell both expanded to become an earth, and the cell became a fish, then a monkey, then a man, and somehow thousands of creatures were eventually created, some with wings, some with fins, some with feet! Also, if God didn't create us, then there must be no afterlife - back to dirt we go. How sad! I prefer to think earth was organized, we were created by a loving God, He is watching over us, and we will be with Him again after this is all over.

I don't think creationism is more plausible than evolution. Isn't it the other way around? After all, evolution, not creationism, is taught in public schools.

because it's a proved fact that an invisible super being conjured into existence the Earth with 2 humans and all the plants and animals and the attendant sun, stars and moon in six days.
any other concept would just be silly.

Truth is worth much more than mere lies. Evolution is man's abortion of the truth, those skulls that were found were Satan's attempt to create something, but it always turned out to be an abortion of the truth, God will not share his might, his great Almighty power with second hand gods....KECK

At the end of the day, they each explain as little as the other. The more we focus on the state of our present, existing selves, the easier it will be to understand what is truly important in our lives.

If you're refering to what the Bible says in Genesis, for example, it all fits together. There is no scientist out there who is smarter than God. Have "they" been able to disprove anything in the Bible yet? The ones who try to discredit it are purely lacking in knowledge.

because most people think evolution means we evolved from apes. It is dumb arrogance that pushes people to creationism.
