Friend, when you type out a question do YOU put them in any particular section? Or Yahoo puts it?
Also, tell me if you are a kid would you be answering questions on stocks and racism? we all, including YOu , are comfortable with sharing what WE think we KNOW or what we think we OUGHT to know.
It only shows that not all are obsessed with sex or religion or money making or simply the BigBang theory.

Thoughts that run through my head:
How my best friend just did something that hurt me but then I let it go because I know she didn't mean to.
That was not easy.
How my husband's annoying habits drive me crazy but then I see that if I focus only on his bad traits I will never be able to see all that is good in him.
How I feel like my kids treat me like I am a slave but then I am reminded that love never fails and my services to them are acts of love.
How I am so unworthy and unfit to be a mom because I am not perfect but then I hear don't listen to that because it is all lies you are more than worthy. You are a good mother.
How I can be so cold and lonely in a room full of people but then He whispers I will never leave you or forsake you.
I have thought about putting a gun to my head because I couldn't stop the thoughts in that moment I heard nothing good. But something inside of me rose up and gave me the strength to hang on another day.

Sorry it took so long, I had to do a goggle search in order to answer your brilliant question.
And having found nothing, I had to resort to ask a question about your question.
Ans since no answers were satisfactory. I came to the conclusion that we are all a bunch of weirdos, and so are "the others"!

I love the people of R&S. I've met some great friends here. There's a few bad seeds but anywhere ya go in life, you'll find those. I think most people here are very intelligent and very passionate about their beliefs. I respect that.

What strikes me is what appears to be dichotomy in thought is not really, both the staunch athiests and the staunch fundamentalists are both obsessed with the subject. Those who are really athiest should get on with the rest of their lives and thoughts. There really is so much else to do and think about than the fantasy that is religion.
