If you guys would only take a psychology class, you'd understand how the mind perceives things to meet certain quotas...Sometimes the mind is only after endorphins not the truth.

It's really a great feeling, to know that God cares that much that He will speak to every single person, if we learn how to listen to Him.
Sometimes He speaks through impressions or images, and sometimes, it's what people refer to as the still small voice. It's not audible, but it comes in words (in your mind), and you know that you didn't think of it. It was just suddenly there, and you weren't thinking of anything related.
Sometimes He speaks to us through other people, because we can sometimes have an easier time hearing him when our minds aren't busy with things about ourselves (we can mistakenly hear what we want to hear as we're learning).
In a meeting once, I said to a lady, "God is saying that He really wants to bless you..." this was all I knew at the time, but as I spoke the words, the rest came to me..."but I feel that He wants you to ask for His blessings more... do you know the prayer of Jabez?" she looked shocked, and said, "The last person who had a word from the Lord for me told me to pray the prayer of Jabez every morning. I guess I better do it!". I was shocked as well, because I'm a little shy, and it scares me to give others words from the Lord. I always think I might be wrong. But most people who have given words to me were very accurate. It's nothing like psychics. it's not God speaking to them, and they're usually either fake or just saying really negative things.
When people hear from God, it's amazing. People can make mistakes, but God is good and makes it easier than you'd think to learn to distinguish His voice from our own and from the enemy's.

he is a loving and caring father, his voice brings a peace unlike any thing i have ever felt. He points out everything, he tells me look at this or look to that and gives an explanation using people or just objects of every day life. Like Jesus speaking in parables but i would look and like a little student explain what i heard in my own words and he would say yeah that's right. he is the father i didn't have from my earthly father, anything i want to learn he teaches me. Its like talking to a person, tell him anything and he patiently hears out every word, foolish or not.

You have a strong inward inspiration on something you wouldn't normally think of. Example would be when the Lord tells me to share His Word with someone. My natural being, one that doesn't like public speaking on sensitive matters, is fighting to keep his Word in but when the Lord speaks through me I feel a flow of living water come out of my being. It's definitely not myself wanting to say these thing but is the living God using me.

It isn't like God calls you up on your cell or anything. You get signs. You just have to pay attention. If you are depressed and you pray to have a better day, maybe the sun will come out or an old friend will call. You just have to be patient and have faith.

Well, the first thing He said was "In the beginning....".
Seriously, pick up the Bible and read it. Everything that God wants to say to you specifically is in that book. When you hear God truly speaking to you it will be in the form of that scripture.
You can't actually hear Him talk until you pick up the book and read it.

It's an inner voice. Not something heard with the ears, but something heard with the mind or soul. There are words and sentences though, it's not just feelings.

it depends........sometimes when He speaks I feel like time has stopped and no one except God and me exist at that moment.
Sometimes it feels like someone covered me with a warm blanket of peace and comfort leaving me hopeful and encouraged.
Sometimes it feels like He has torn back a layer of skin off my heart revealing secert sins I didn't even know I had. Then always leaving me with strength to face them and hope of forgiveness.
Sometimes just a sense of awe of who He is and how nothing is impossible for Him to acomplish.
Then sometimes just silence with no sense of His presense but always knowing from faith He's there

It's a quickening to your heart, a stirring of your spirit, a comfort to your soul. God talks to us all, everyday, in the beauty of His creation, in a newborn's baby's tenderness, in a child's laugh, in an old person's loving eyes. He is everywhere, and He wants you to hear him.
