Earlier this evening, I posted a question inspired by this previous question...

I have been told by many of my Muslim brothers and Sisters in God that they respect Jesus as much as Mohammad. They rightfully point out that offensive comments towards one's faith can be upsetting, and cause one to react negatively...even violently.
Slayer's new album doesn't offend me at all. It disturbs me, but so do horror films like Texas Chain Saw Massacre. They can bash Jesus as much as they want. It's their right to express their "talent" and "artistry".
I'm just wondering... what is the Muslim perspective on this blatantly offensive and controversial marketing gimmic?
P.S. There's a track on the same album called "Jihad" which depicts the 9/11 attacks through the eyes of a terrorist.
Peace
