Why are nondenomintional christians aloud to become preachers or deacons without having to go to school like catholics or baptist..Is this a good thing? Most great preist are also theoligians they have to study more than there own religion. How can you defend your religion when you havent learned the history of it all ..Not everything you need to know to defend your religion is in the bible..Just curious to know..

I say the soul is the mind and the spirit is the same breath of life God breathed into Adam. I believe the soul is like software and the spirit is like electricity. If I cut the power off from your computer, your software isn't going to leave anywhere and the electricity stops flowing. The same goes with the soul and the spirit.

...then why isn't there a great public outcry to outlaw fornication, adultery, and using the Lord's name in vain?

Aren't those sins as well? Doesn't it say in the bible that ALL sin is equal, no sin outweighs any other? Why then aren't they crying about adultery as well?

I always get freaked out when religious zealots pick and choose which sins they chastise. How many of them do you think are fornicators? (Just about every one I ever met.)
