I agree, you should respect other people's beliefs. But respect is supposed to go both ways. "You will burn in an eternal lake of fire if you don't accept Jesus Christ as your savior" is not respect; it's rude and obnoxious and uncalled for. If someone is saying things like that, in my humble opinion, you have no obligation to be nice to them.

Because even though it may not be right for you, you recognize that is very right for others and you wish them no ill will. Making fun of anything just shows you have no understanding for the issue at hand and makes you look really bad.

You needn't show respect for religions. You should only show respect for people, even if you don't agree. But not all ideas (religious or otherwise are worthy of respect).

I agree. I do not have respect for any religion, nor do I pretend I do.
I do have respect for individuals though, regardless of their religious beliefs, as long as they repect me too. They need not have respect for my beliefs either.

cause its not just about the religion its about the God of the universe and that's not the only part of it god has a home for u in heaven if you'll just believe in him Romans 10:9 that if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the lord Jesus and shalt believe in thy heart that god has raised him from the dead thou shalt be saved.
