If you were approached by a well groomed man in an expensive suit. He wanted to rent your sofa for the night for $10,000 cash. He would arrive at 10 pm and be gone by 7 am the next morning. He will have had dinner so you do not have to feed him. Would you take the deal? If so, why? If not, why? Would you attempt to negotiate a higher price? What would your price be? If you accepted and he showed by cab at 10 pm as planned with an over night bag and a metal brief case. Closed all the drapes. Watch the news, and went to sleep, but before sleeping he was always checking his Blackberry, and peeking out the window. And when asked what he did for work he just said "creative international financing", what would you think?

I most certainly would not let a strange man sleep on my couch for no amount of money. I have small children and cannot trust just anybody. They would have to find someone elses couch.

Scary. I wouldnt do it as by the sounds of it, he is in hiding. What if he is involved in drugs or mafia or whatever, then with you hiding him out in your home, could become involved in whatever he is up to. No thanks plus I like my privacy, and money is not that important. It helps, but no thanks.
