Arrrrrrrh! Thy faith doth lift thee up unto the forecastle of the deck of righteousness, Br'er Jimbo, it does! For it sayeth in the Book of Contusions "Not all are called unto His Noodley Appendages, but all shall be devoured!" Blessed be His Balls of Meat! Blessed be the beer volcanos! Blessed be the Holy Stripper Bars that await the faithful in Heaven.
For the Duct-Tape Pirates sail upon a sea of marinara and come with drawn butter and drawn swords to divide the unrighteous from their booty. Blast the parmesian, full speed ahead!
What more proof can any doubter wish than to see that moment when the Ship of the Sky, that glorious moment of horror when the Alien Being scoops up the unrighteous into His Maw of Terror and grabs those unbelievers...oh, it gives me shivvers.
I say, pray to TFSM and if you are one of the chosen, He will make Himself known to you.
Pastafarians everywhere, give praise!
Ra-men!

I actually told 2 Christians about the FSM on talk like a pirate day and they were quite skeptical. One said "Prove it!" and the other said "Oh and I suppose you believe in the tooth fairy too?" Needless to say I had a good laugh. Also interesting, I'm reading a book called "The Presumption of Atheism" right now.
Oh yea, and fci_pitch, validity comes from acceptance huh? Well at least it's easy to see why your religious.

Technically, yes any diety would need to prove itself to me before I truly believed in it. But, if there is no FSM why is there still spaghetti with meatballs in every Italian restaurant and grocery store? That's more evidence than alot of dieties have. LOL

No state of denial.
Physically impossible, no proof or lack of is necessary.
This is an analogy based fracture.
Simple terms, you are trying to justify your "belief" system with something that is quite extraordinary.
Validity comes from acceptance. The supernatural Deity you do not like, comes from lack of understanding.
I can see where you would not like conversation about it.

You'd have to give people a ridiculously old book that mentions the FSM... because we all know that if a concept if really really really old then it MUST exist in reality!
Nothing is necessary for ME to believe; I'm already there, Pastafarian brother. Praise be to the Noodly Lord. RAmen.

No, proof required.
People are allowed to believe what they choose to believe. Answer the questions they want to respond to.
Unfortunately, not all answerers can let it be, without becoming defensive because they feel their own beliefs are being ridiculed.

Truth is a perception. Perception can be manipulated therefore formulating a different 'truth' than one previously existing. Since belief is crucial in making 'truth' relevant to the believer, 'proof' is rendered meaningless unless belief is also present to espouse ones perception--either you believe or you do not...
...some pretty good questions here today...

how long was it written over 10 days or 20 days? and by 1 or 2 man?
Yes or no:
any historical proof? was the time named because of the event, like A.D. and B.C. ? Did it create the world and everything in it ?if the answer is no, then ur answer to who would believe in it, is also NO.

The FSM is no different from God. But I'd be more willing to believe in FSM because at least he takes time out of his schedule to come here and tell us about himself.

I would not ask for proof, because I have faith that it's true.
