i really can't understand how u can think its ok to kill another human being for all these reasons

1:)its not the womans body that is getting murdered its the babys which is a totally different body
2:)if it has a beating heart ( 10 wks after conception) its alive
3:)if its so acceptable then how come the women are ashamed to talk about it
4;)the bible states that if it is done in silence then it is wrong, not in those exact words
5:)some girls use it as birth control only because it is legal
6:)there are many couples who can't have children and would love a baby and are on a very long list for a baby
7:)doctors have done sonograms during abortions and realized that the baby feels pain
8:)some talk about the state of consciousness, but, a 1 wk old don't have consciousness that we know of so would it be wrong to kill them also, i doubt it

might seem like an unnecessarily bloody question... but I'd like to know how many of you take your faith in both hands. God knows enough Muslims seem to. What' the Christian pov here?

Did Jesus make statements reguarding his status, the words, the will and the power he used ? Let us find out.

WORDS
Joh 7:16 Jesus answered them and said, "My doctrine is not Mine, but His
who sent Me.
Joh 14:24 "He who does not love Me does not keep My words; and the word
which you hear is not Mine but the Father's who sent Me.
Joh 12:49 "For I have not spoken on My own authority; but the Father who
sent Me gave Me a command, what I should say and what I should speak.

WILL
Joh 4:34 Jesus said to them, "My food is to do the will of him who sent
me, and to accomplish his work.
Joh 6:38 "For I have come down from heaven, not to do My own will, but
the will of Him who sent Me.
Lu 22:42 saying, "Father, if it is Your will, take this cup away from Me;
nevertheless not My will, but Yours, be done."

POWER
Joh 5:30 "I can of Myself do nothing. As I hear, I judge; and My judgment
is righteous, because I do not seek My own will but the will of the
Father who sent Me.
Joh 8:42 Jesus said to them, "If God were your Father, you would love me,
for I proceeded and came forth from God; I came not of my own accord,
but he sent me.

KNOWLEDGE
Mr 13:32 "But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels in
heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.
Mt 24:36 "But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of
heaven, but My Father only.
Joh 7:16 So Jesus answered them, "My teaching is not mine, but his who
sent me;

STATUS
Mt 7:21 "Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' shall enter the
kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.
Mr 10:18 And Jesus said to him, "Why do you call me good? No one is good
but God alone.
8:50 "And I do not seek My own glory; there is One who seeks and judges.

Some Christians, (not all) claim that Jesus implied that he was God. From the above verses, we
see that Jesus denied being God. It now leaves the Christians who believe Jesus is God to provide
just one single verse in the Bible where Jesus says "I am God". There is no such verse, so we see from
the many quotes above, that the House did not belong to Jesus, it belonged to the ONE WHO
SENT him

It's sickening how people twist history to their own agenda. I mean yes, some were Christian, but many others like Benjamin Franklin, Thomas Jefferson, George Washington...all deists and agnostics.

I'm tired of trying to explain ourselves to straight men and women. The don't understand us, and they never will be able to. The male + female relationship is so thoroughly ingrained into their brains that they simply cannot comprehend a male + male relationship. It simply doesn't compute in their brains. Whenever they see a male + male relationship, they try to fit it into a male + female relationship because that's all they understand. That's why they're always trying to look for a dominant/active partner and a submissive/passive partner. They're always looking for the 'woman' in the male-male couple because a relationship between two males is beyond their scope.

I remember when some stright people I know watched Brokeback Mountain, they argued which one of the men were the 'woman' in the relationship. What they didn't realize was that there was no woman in the relationship! It's a relationship between two men!

( Rant over. )

I have never gotten what it said out of my head... it was very accurate about two things that there was no way I knew at the time (and things that were somewhat unlikely as well)... Now, this year, something s supposed to happen to me... and given the fact I live in a new city for school...it sort of all makes sense - but I swear I am otherwise very rational. I don't even believe in karma, fate, religion, etc... but this freaking Ouija board??

I don't understand their grammar at all, I speak traditional Parisian french. For example when I would say"veut-il venir?", a french canadian would say"y veux-tu venir?". That doesn't make any sense to me. Any explanation please.

I noticed that my next door neighbors were very mean people back when they first moved in a couple years ago when I first tried to communicate with them they just came off as being arogant, as if I was a worthless being. Even now when I say hello to them they stick their nose in the air and turn their backs toward me. I never done anything to them and I get along with my other neighbors fine (they have no opinion about the new neighbor). Since I live in a city where the homes are about 5 feet apart, I just want to know what to say (or think) if I see them outside.

1. What do you see as some of the shortcomings and benefits of using archaeology to corrobrate the New Testament?

2. If Luke and other New Testament writers are shown to be accurate in reporting incidental details, does this increase your confidence that they would be similarly careful in recording more important events? why or why not?

3. Why do you find Dr. Mc Ray's analysis of the puzzles concerning the census, the existence of Nazareth, and the slaughter at Bethlehem to be generally plausible or implausible?

4. After having considered the eyewitness, documentary, corroborating, and scientific evidence in the case for Christ, stop and assess your conclusions so far. On a scale of zero to ten, with zero being "No confidence" in the essential reliability of the gospels and ten being "Full confidence," where would you rate yourself at this point? What are some reasons you chose that number?
