I have ideas to make the Clockwork Orange costume from the movie.
I am going to make the girl version though. I have the derby hat, a white skirt, a white button up shirt, boots, eyeballs for the clothes, the eyelashes, a cane, and things to make a paper meche mask out of a clear face mask and a witches nose. I also need to know how to do paper meche, is it with just glue or what?

I found this article quite amusing.
Is marriage strengthened by mutual faith in God? Are marriages weak without religion? The Barna Research Group conducted a poll of Americans in 1999 in an attempt to show that religious faith reduces the likelihood of divorce. The results shocked them: Atheists had the lowest average divorce rates (defined as the percentage of people who had been divorced at least once in their lives), at 21%. Christian divorce rates averaged about 24% (higher for "born-again" Christians, ie- fundamentalists, at 27%), and even higher for Jews, at 30%. They also collected racial and geographical data, which showed that the white Southern Baptist fundamentalists have no reason to crow about their "family values". Not only did the Southern Bible Belt have the highest divorce rate in the country, but whites as a race are the most likely to split: 27%, as compared to 22% for blacks, 20% for Hispanics, and only 8% for Asians like me

...for actually turning people AWAY from Him in droves with your fire & brimstone, brainwashing, bible-thumping tactics? Would you really want to have to apologize to His face for that? What if God got really fed up with it and decided the Bible-thumpers got to go to Hell and everyone else gets to stay in Heaven?

go from age 12 to age 30? the bible makes no mention of jesus during this time in his life. so using the same logic christians use when saying jesus was never married, " jesus was never married because the bible never says he was." should we also assume he magically went from age 12 to age 30?

and for those who will say the authors of the bible never said anything about this period in jesus's life because they felt it held no relevance to his message, then can we not use that same logic and assume jesus was married, but the authors just felt it held no relevance to his message?

I'd like to know specifically how gay marriage has hurt you personally, or how you would anticipate it hurting you. You can present evidence on someone else's behalf (ie, how it hurt someone you know.) I'm trying to understand why people are so opposed to gay marriage, so please be specific about this (for instance, if you wanna talk about "gay agenda," you'd better be real specific about REAL people who were REALLY hurt by the "gay agenda," not just catch phrases.) Let's think for ourselves, shall we.

We are taught to help our neighbor, feed the hungry and take care of the poor. But where does welfare fit into our religion?

I know that if people cannot work for some reason we are called to help them. But what about the people that simply don't want to work? Does it say in the bible about not taking money from the working man? Should we help them as much as we would, say, someone who physically cannot work? I'm curious to see Catholic's take on this.

I am building a haunted maze in my front room. It has tall ceilings and it's rectangular, which is an advantage for a maze. We are making the maze out of boxes and the maze has it's own ceiling made out of boxes, for things like newspaper and such to hangdown. Basically I need ideas for things that will glow in a black light, or scarey images. easy props, illusion ideas for the walls in the maze. Just anything that is a 'haunted house' idea.
