It could be 小徑, a small, short trail

It could also be a nickname. In Chinese we sometimes use "小 + the last character of one's name" as his nickname. For example, many of my friends call me 小玉 instead of my original name, since 玉 is the last character of my name. In the case of Xiao Jing, it might be a nickname for someone whose name ends with the character pronounced jìng.

do you know the tone for "jing"? is it 1st, 2nd, 3rd, or 4th tone? it can mean different things, depending on the tone and the context in which it was used. it looks like someone's nickname to me.

litterally it could be:

small startled
small is static
small well
minor classics
small mirror

i guess to know for sure you would need to know the characters, or figure out which one it is from the context.
