Is that true? She just recently told me that and said she heard from some Afghan Tv show. She says that men peeing while standing up is very bad (I mean besides the obvious about hit or miss.

Is this in the Koran? I want some real facts about this please. My mom is very gullible and unfortunetly she seems to believe many things she hears on t.v.

Do you think that the Book of Revelations is real?? And if so, do you think that we've already entered into the 'end of the world' phase like in there?? I've always been terrified to read it, but I'd really like to know some of your opinions. Please only serious answers! I actually want to know this, and would really appreciate the insults to be kept at a minimum. (Some people have just gotten really nasty on here.)

As a muslim I believe that only God (Allah or you may call him yahweh and he is laso known by terms like the most beautifull, most powerfull , all-knowing , etc ) was God.
2 questions:

1-dont you belive that he is so much great and perfect in all the respect(beauty, power, knowledge, kindness,love , etc) that he is incomparable with all other beings.no other being is even close to him in beauty ,power, etc. he is the source.
he is like a painter and all the other beings are like his paintings.
don't you agree that our beauties and nowledges and etc are just some small shadows of his light.
don't you believe that he was the cause of all causes.
and can there ultimately be more than one "cause of all causes"?
can there be two most beautifull ??I want to call the most beautifull "beloved" can there ultimately be 2 or 3 beloved??
or we are in a journey to ultimately reach to our one beloved
,the source?

I was a bridesmaid in a wedding this weekend. I drank a little too much at the reception and I think I was pretty obviously drunk.(but I was happy- not crying or making a scene or anything). I have not drank a lot this past year since I had a child. Apparently, towards the end of the reception, I went outside and passed out in the front lawn of the reception hall in front of a lot of people. Someone I didn't know and my husband helped me get into a cab to leave. I barely remember any of this but I know I didn't say goodbye to my friend- the bride. I feel really guilty now- I have not spoken to her since last night- she is on her honeymoon now. Do I need to apologize for what happened. I'm really embarrassed.

Muslims, Christians, and Jews die every day because of their beliefs. It's ******* madness. If I were going to believe something so strongly that I'd die for it, I'd at least require more than just a feeling. I'd need some proof. Jesus is quoted in the Bible as saying "Blessed are they who have not seen and yet believe". Do we encourage faith without seeing or proof in anything other than religion? Lots of people think that those who believe in Scientology are crazy. What is the difference between Scientology and Christianity aside from 2000 years?

I'm sure you all see what i'm getting at. I argue with xians a lot about the existence of god, and one of many arguments I hear is "Well, god helped me in times of trouble!" or "I know this guy whose brother was healed of cancer overnight!" So if that counts as proof, do the countless hindus who are healed by ayurvedic healing or Krishna, etc... count as proof of their gods?

After 2 children, my husband had a vasectomy, 5 months later I became pregnant again. I was in the office when they proformed the procedure, and I was there when they had to redo it again. The doctor said it was highly unusual but the tubes reconnected again. Our organs do not have a brain. I say it was God will what do you think?

sunday my husband my daughter and myself riding home from a birthday party Hettie my 3 years old has a ballon she is driving us crazy with it, after asking her to hold it nice or leave it alone oh i would say 20 times , i turned to her and said thats it im going to pop that fricking ballon and just as the words left my lips pow the dang ballon burst !she was just holding while i had my hands on my lap Hettie screams for a second then says mommy you made me pop my ballon my hubby steve said omg did that just happen i said i can't believe it !! steves says well at least you didn't pop her babe . can you believe it

In the bible, there is this little paragraph, when Jesus is being killed, a woman turns to this one guy, and says 'did'nt you hang out with him?' And he denyed it and basically turned his back on Jesus. Can anyone tell me where to find that? I know I am being pretty vague, and inarticulate, but I can't remember it very well. I would search for it, but the bible is a very long book. lol =) (oh my, I sound like a stupid teenager)
