In the bible, there is this little paragraph, when Jesus is being killed, a woman turns to this one guy, and says 'did'nt you hang out with him?' And he denyed it and basically turned his back on Jesus. Can anyone tell me where to find that? I know I am being pretty vague, and inarticulate, but I can't remember it very well. I would search for it, but the bible is a very long book. lol =) (oh my, I sound like a stupid teenager)

It was Peter and is in Matthew 26: 69-74. He denied knowing Jesus 3 times before the **** crowed in the morning after Jesus was arrested, not on the day he was being killed.

IT was Peter.

He did this before the actual Crucifixion. At the garden where Jesus was betrayed by Judas Isc. Peter was told by God that he would deny him. Peter replied that he would never do this.

After Jesus was led away from the garden, Peter followed at a safe distance and when he got to the temple, he stayed outside.
This is where three times he denied knowing Jesus Christ before the **** crowed.

The story can be found in the gospels. Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. You would have to read the accounts in all of them to get the whole picture of what happened before the denial.

And when she saw Peter warming himself, she looked upon him, and said, And thou also wast with Jesus of Nazareth.

Mar 14:68 But he denied, saying, I know not, neither understand I what thou sayest. And he went out into the porch; and the c ock crew.

Mar 14:69 And a maid saw him again, and began to say to them that stood by, This is [one] of them.

Mar 14:70 And he denied it again. And a little after, they that stood by said again to Peter, Surely thou art [one] of them: for thou art a Galilean, and thy speech agreeth [thereto].

Mar 14:71 But he began to curse and to swear, [saying], I know not this man of whom ye speak.

Mar 14:72 And the second time the c ock crew. And Peter called to mind the word that Jesus said unto him, Before the c ock crow twice, thou shalt deny me thrice. And when he thought thereon, he wept.
